Was a little intimidating trying to understand the frequency you want to use and matching the length of the antenna to that frequency to work without issues. I set it to 3 bars and adjusted the antenna to the correct length and input pre recorded speech then took a ride to listen in my car. I went 4 city blocks away and it still came in very clear. According to the manual that would be approx. 6 watts for power. I installed it at a church for parking lot services and following the instructions best I could (keeping the antenna away from the transmitter and setting the length of the antenna to the frequency) It went 4 times further than the furthest parking lot space. One thing I did learn is do not touch the tip of the antenna when it is on, it burned my finger instantly due to focusing all the transmitter energy going to my finger than through the air, it must be a powerful unit. Lesson learned. With the unit off the tip of the antenna was cold.Again, if set correctly it is remarkable how good the transmitted sound is when played on a FM radio.

It will transmit like it says. But only about a range of 100 yards. I used this for our outdoor service and as soon as I plugged it into my sound system, I got an awful grounding buzz through my speakers and it also went across the airwaves. Tech support for this product kept telling me its my antenna range and length. That was false, as I took the time to go through each frequency and properly adjust the antenna as needed and the entire time I thought I was going to blow my speakers from the buzz. Tech support was reached out to again and they literally called me a liar for the ground buzzing that I was having. I have wasted the money and they won't take it back. So I have a 2 lb. (or so) paperweight now. I will not be using this company when I go and get another FM transmitter. Steer clear from this one.

This little transmitter works well for the price. I hooked it up to my cell phone streaming music, got in my car and drove around the block, and I could hear it just fine. Just make sure there's not another station using that frequency in your area or you will have a mixture of two signals. If so, just choose a different frequency. It offers a full band of FM choices. The unit is easy to set up and easy to understand. The manual is simple, with clear instructions. It even has a trouble alarm reminder to tell you when something is wrong with your connection. I thought I would have to pay more for such range and all these features. Good little unit for parking lot church service, neighborhood drive in theater night, or to broadcast music thoughout your home to all your fm radios.

I bought this transmitter to be used by my church to broadcast our service for drive-in worship. A computer savvy member hooked it up and had it running in less than 30 minutes. It took longer to find an open channel than to hook it to our existing sound system. Broadcast crystal clear to the car radios but tried using boom boxes for those that were gathered outside and the reception was sketchy. We figured out that there was a strong station too close to the number we picked and changed the station. Overall a wonderful product and can't wait to hear it on Sunday.

This works really well. We purchased it for parking lot church service. The range and clarity are great. Only downside is it didn't come with detailed instructions

Where do I begin?!?! We received a different brand name in an open box when we ordered a new unit. The audio worked fine for music. The microphone did not work at all. We tried both off the shelf new microphones and broadcast microphones and none of them worked with the unit. We are VERY disappointed and will be returning the unit this week.
