If you read reviews of shampoo bars, the one thing you will notice is that they are all over the place. Some people get great results, while others hate them. It's hard to imagine they are talking about the same product. But people are very individual, and your hair and skin and diet, etc, will have a unique reaction to a product like this.I very much wanted to reduce the use of personal care products with chemicals in them, so I took a chance on this bar. By the way, I used dowsing to select the brand and 'flavor', and I couldn't be more happy with it.The bar lathers easily and my hair lathers quickly with it. When I rinse it out, my hair is a bit 'sticky' feeling, like that hard water feeling. We have very hard water here in the desert. They say you can use a dilute vinegar rinse, but I tried it without, and I have been very happy.If you are used to a conditioner, you will probably find your hair tangles slightly, but I have very thick hair, and it was not an objectionable amount of tangling. A comb easily took care of it. My hair felt soft once it dried. Another weird thing I noticed is that the blonde is coming back. I'm 68, and my hair has become brown instead of blonde as I got older, and with each shampoo, it is getting blonde highlights. Subtle, but not so subtle my husband didn't see them. Maybe it's stripping something off the hair. Who knows?I would recommend this product for anyone who wants to limit chemical exposure. It works great, smells lovely and I am never going back to other shampoos.

I so wanted to love this shampoo, it is local to me and ships through Amazon.However, this shampoo bar just doesn’t react well with my hair. I have been using shampoo bars for the past year and a half and this shampoo is just not working. It leaves my hair too oily and crisp(which is a weird combination).It does lather very nicely and smells really good. It just doesn’t work with my hair.Side note, not good for color treated hair. It seemed to strip the color within a few days.

I really wanted to love the shampoo bars since I’m a hippie child and love minimal packaging. I also love camping and these would have been perfect. I have thick, very fine, long hair and found that after using the bar that my hair was oily, gummy and dry all at the same time. I absolutely love the smell!! I was fully refunded and recommend this company to anyone who would like to try it out. It took half a bottle of clarifying shampoo to sort it out so not a huge risk. I’m giving four stars for overall product and caring company. 1 star removed for the fact that it didn’t work for me.

I use shampoo bars to help the environment by avoiding plastic bottles. Sadly a previous product I’ve tried, used plastic wrap and mailer. Thankfully this product came in a recyclable cardboard container.The product itself smells good, but the lemon grass scent is not pronounced enough.

I think this is better than shampoo. Ive been using a lot of organic, batural and bougie stuff, this takes the cake. Men and women alike would do well to switch. The smell is very nice, scalp feels great!

I want to quit disposable plastic. I found this at Whole Foods, tried it, and after it passed the household's test--bought several bars.It works well on my long straight hair. Male household members prefer it to liquid shampoo.

Smells AMAZING!!! Comes in easily recyclable packaging! It’s a large bar compared to other shampoo bars I’ve seen, and it’s not as expensive! Also.. bonus points for the company’s mission and organic ingredients.Guess I should mention using it too— super good lather and bubbles- leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean and not weighed down. There is NO residue left on my hair like with some other shampoo bars. Just started using it the past week, but I can see the bar lasting a long time. BUY IT.

I have been looking for a clean shampoo option and I finally found it! This bar is moisturizing as well and I do not have to use conditioner all the time. It leaves my hair feeling clean and not greasy.
