At first I had very mixed feelings about this delicious iced tea. I have to admit there was a level of disappointment because this tea is indeed NOT blue/indigo colored and after seeing the color from my first batch, my heart fell just a bit. But honestly I can't blame the company or Amazon. I actually went to the Harney & Sons Website to find out why and regarding this specific tea it clearly states "The Iced Tea blend is different than the hot tea blend. There is more Hibiscus in the iced tea to give it more body. This means that the iced tea is a more reddish in color than hot tea. " and ALSO from their website "Please note that the mineral content of your water source will affect the color of the brew. Our photos use local spring water sourced from the Berkshires. If the color of your brew is different, please consider trying an alternative water source. ".Knowing that I can now review this tea honestly. The flavor alone is wonderful. it's a dewy spring morning on the palate; it's Flowerful, sweet, refreshing and delightful. It still has a very pretty color. If you want a fabulous glass of herbal ICED tea, this is it. If you require purple/indigo colored iced tea, this is not it. I'm going to order the loose leaf tea next of this flavor just because I really want to experience the color as well and see what the difference in flavor is.

This has a very light flavor, which wasn't bad, it just wasn't my favorite.

I had just ordered the small box of indigo punch off of the Harney & Sons website a few weeks ago and LOVED the taste of the iced tea, and the bright purple color. I ordered this big bag thinking I'd want to make the tea week after week because I loved the flavor. It arrived yesterday and let me tell you - it is NOT the real Harney and Sons Indigo punch. It's not the right flavor or color. It just tastes like roses, but not the fruity flavor. It's not good, and I'm very disappointed because I paid $25 for a huge bag of tea that is now going to waste.Very disappointed, and wish I could get a refund or the REAL tea that I like so much.

1st bag was delicious bright purple tea. Second bag was normal black tea color with minimal flavor.
