The Book of James Bible Study (Rose Visual Bible Studies) Paperback – June 14, 2018

I purchased this for a group Bible study I participated in. So far we have purchased guides from this writer twice. I like that it emphasizes the important passages so if you don’t have enough time to prepare you can spot read and still be ready to participate in discussion. It also fosters really good conversation. Everyone in the group agreed this was a great guide.

My Bible study group just finished this study. The book is a combination of textbook and workbook. We are affiliated with a mainline Protestant denomination and I think any group would benefit from using this book. I was a youth director many years ago and often ordered from Group Publishing, if that helps you to know about the book. Our group is all women. The book was a refreshing change from just a book with no study questions. The exercises make you think and you can write out your answers so you’ll have a record. I date my answers.

Reading this book made me realize that I have more faults than what I thought! And believe it or not, I'm a Christian! It helped me realize that we all have room for improvement. The lessons are "bite sized", along with scriptures, real life questions, and much more! If you think you're perfect and don't need to take a look in the mirror, think again!
