SpaceLift SL 5228-S Attic Lift

Took about 1/2 day to install & have moved a ton of stuff above the garage already. I bought the wider one but wish it was as wide as three of the rafters (48”). We put the 4x8 sheets of flooring through the hole before dropping the unit in place as we determined a full sheet wouldn’t ride up after installation. We now have about 600 square feet of usable storage that was mostly unusable before. Happy with the USA built quality of the unit. The supplied Allen wrench was even stamped Made in USA. IMPRESSIVE!

Finally finished our Garage and it works absolutely fantastic. Just what we needed for our storage space.

We installed our lift to store our Christmas decorations over our garage. Perfect solution…no more carrying boxes up and down stairs. Easy to operate. Very pleased with our purchase

The media could not be loaded. We have very little storage space, most of it being above a 2-car garage. Lots of Christmas stuff, kids stuff, seasonal stuff and now summer/winter wheels/tires for son’s Miata up there. Coupled with the usual somewhat shaky pulldown stairs; an accident waiting to happen. Plus the dread/struggle of carrying stuff up and down.Being a DIYer I tackled most of it myself, with help from my son for placing the unit into framing. Had a couple questions on spacing and initial setup that Keith from SpaceLift answered very quickly and thoroughly even tho it was Thanksgiving week! Between the install videos, manual and direct contact - the best support I can remember receiving 👍Works great; especially with one person upstairs and one down it makes attic storage use much safer and almost a breeze.

The media could not be loaded. We have a tall garage with a mezzanine for storage of infrequently used items (snow tires, X’mas decorations, etc.). This lift has made using that mezzanine storage space so much more convenient! Without the lift each item would have to be hand carried up and down the stairs - particularly difficult with heavy items.Have had no problems with use. Just need to keep in mind that weight limit is 200 lb (in part because lift is suspended on webbing straps, not metal cables) and items can’t be larger than the steel mesh platform (maybe a couple inches smaller than the actual product dimension footprint). Note - It is not enough room to load tires on their sides; they have to be stood vertically and braced.

DIY friendly. If you are handy with a hammer and saw ,you can do it. Quality materials and simply to assemble and. Install.

Had a local guy install it in 5 hours.This lift will save our life from hauling holiday items up and down attic stairs. Almost 70 and came close numerous times on the stairs.This products quality is top notch and thousands cheaper than the competitors

Installed Professionally. I'm now able to clear the stuff off my garage floor and Install my Golf Hitting Bay. SpaceLift is very quiet, though with a 24"x41" lifting platform you have to get creative with the long items. I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend the SpaceLift.
