This was easy to use and works very well

This tool saves me SO much time. I now just print out a plan and it doesn't even matter the scale is. I set the custom scale on the wheel which takes 5 seconds and its good to go. I measure all the base or drywall for a house in secconds and know I didn't mess up on my calculations. Highly recommended.

Small, compact, precise. Does what it says it does, use it on site.

This is very nice. Works with my Mac plug and play. I used it to do take offs on blue prints. It is easy to use and sends the data directly to a spread sheet where I can manipulate it they way I need to. the cord is plenty long and it has a nice hard case. It can also be used with out connecting it to a PC or Mac.

This is really great because it can be used on house plans, site plans and even Rand McNalley maps. If I were going to improve it, I would (1) make it so the pressure on the wheel could be adjusted for different surfaces. This requres a perfectly flat smooth surface and paper. Wrinkles throw off the scale, (2) add a light so when it is on the surface I am measuring I can see the lines more clearly, and (3) provide better instructions. It took me quite a while to set custom scales. I tried at least a dozen times over 30 minutes until it finally worked.I am not an engineer or IT person but I sort of think the instructions are written for folks with those skills.But like I said, i finally figured it out.

The Scale Master Pro is a necessary tool in any construction office. The many built in scales and the ease of creating custom scales save time in the estimating process. Could not do my job without it.

Perfect to do take-off's.

I purchased this scale for one purpose only in mind at the time but it has served well for multiple purposes. This scale has many great functions.

Habe ein Messgerät gesucht, mit dem ich Ovale Formen genau auf deren Länge messen kann. Dies ist damit möglich. Jedoch wird anscheinend über eine Lichtschranke der durch die kleinen Löcher in der Messrolle angesprochen. Dies hat zur folge, das auch bei einer ungewollten Rückwärtsbewegung das Zählwerk addiert. Dadurch ist es leider manchmal notwendig, eine Messung mehrfach durchzuführen.Von der Genauigkeit bin ich aber positiv Überrascht.

Son utilité est de mesurer sur des plans électriques ou de structures, des longueurs des fils ou des longueurs de mur et des quantités pour ensuite les incorporer dans votre soumission. Facile à utiliser, facile aussi de créé ses propres échelles de travail selon la grandeur des plans émis.Vous pouvez aussi transférer vos mesures directement à votre application d'estimation grace à l'application Scalemaster inclus dans le kit mais le transfert se fait par câble seulement, le fil est souvent un obstacle à notre travail, c'est pour cela que je ne l'utilise pas mais peut-être que d'autre personne l'utilise et c'est bien corerct.

Just taking off electrical containment drawings, also great for pipework measures, and this little beauty is making my life so much easier. It may sound obvious but its main feature is to measure distance - push along and measure, I then input that measure to spreadsheet manually. You can buy a cable and somehow it populates a spreadsheet. For my use I don't see the benefit as I think that I would spend more time fiddling with that sheet rather than what I was supposed to be doing. Other people may find it useful.The measurer is so easy to use. Its easy to input the scale, turn off the beeps (tracking beeps and button pressing). You can also lock off the scale so that you don't accidentally press the buttons and muck-up your measure. There's more things that you can do but I have not utilised these features as yet.It came in a nice box with instructions. The instructions look complicated but if you take your time and a bit of common sense you will be fine. I have bought a neoprene cover (sold elsewhere) and it will be safe and secure in my draw. Very happy.
