May become the primary controller
This was originally purchased to serve as a backup/spare while we sent my son's JoyCons out for repair due to "JoyCon drift" (he couldn't imagine going 2 weeks without his Switch, lol). When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised with it. It learned into the system easy, it's functionality was the same as using the Joycon comfort grip and the buttons and joysticks were fluid. Another nice feature was the rubber-coated grips. He's been using it a few days and is very pleased. No distance issues - it works well beyond where he normally sits. He's been using it a few hours a day - we charge it at night for about an hour and that seems to do the trick. It includes a USB charging cable that we insert into a 110 VAC USB cube. Very reasonably priced at $20, let's see if it stays there. I will update this to review longevity after a few months goes by.... NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller. I try to write helpful, unbiased and insightful reviews because I also read reviews prior to making my own buying decisions. I notice many reviews lack helpful information, are not well written or give poor reviews based on not reading directions, inexperience or failing to read the product details prior to purchasing. Writing valuable reviews helps pay it forward.

Quality third party controller
I purchased this controller in the past and wanted to purchase another since I liked it so much. I originally purchased it because I grew tired of constantly switching out the joy-cons to play. You can charge and play at the same time; although, the charging cable is pretty short. The cost is reasonable, and I liked the design. I like the feel, the weight, the rubber grips, and it’s not too large. I have seen third party controllers that don’t have the rumble feature, and this one does and works. The battery life is about 7 hours, and charging takes about 2 hours. One down side is that you cannot turn on the switch with the controller. Overall, great controller.

Better than the Pro already
I got this as a replacement for my drifting Pro. It's already much better at a fraction of the cost. It's easy to pair, and with vibration off the controller has lasted me several sessions without recharging it. It's also held up well after hours of intense Smash Bros matches where other third party controllers have very quickly failed me.The d-pad is also much better than the Pro controller's, which often registers the wrong direction. It's not as clicky/satisfying to push- bordering on somewhat mushy, even, but it actually gets my inputs right 100% of the time so that's all that matters to me. The gyro also works as expected in games like Breath of the Wild.I will say the vibration was REALLY strong for me- I think it hurt my hand a bit, but being able to turn vibration off makes it a non-issue. That may also be a reason why some reviews mentioned shorter battery life. I also personally like the color accents, as it injects some personality that the regular pro controller lacks.I'll update my review later to reflect longer term use like possible drifting, as well as customer service since I also got the three year warranty.

No More Joy-Con Drift (Mostly)
This controller has two major problems:1) Low battery life2) Controller sleepBattery life lasts about 5 hours (compared to the around 20 hrs using Joy-Cons and 40 hours using a Switch Pro Controller). The controller enters sleep mode very quickly (after 5 or so minutes) forcing you to reconnect, which consistently interrupts games with longer cut scenes or when taking a quick break. Also, the right stick will occasionally drift upwards when reconnecting after leaving sleep mode.Otherwise, this is a quality and affordable controller that's comfortable and resolves Joy-Con drift for the most part.

Great customer service, good controller for the money
The first controller I received wouldn't charge, so I reached out to the seller and a replacement was sent free of charge. The new controller works well! The controller is very comfortable in my hands. The D pad feels a bit spongy and placed quite far from the left stick, and therefore might not be suitable for long 2D game sessions. The analog sticks feel pretty good, but they are not quite as precise as the Official Nintendo Pro controller. The triggers and ABXY buttons have a satisfying click, but the +, -, Capture, and Turbo buttons are awkwardly placed, meaning you may accidentally hit the Capture button instead of the + or the Turbo button instead of -. For the price, it is a good, affordable secondary Pro-style controller.

Great Controller and Customer Service
This is a great controller for the price. It's comfortable to hold and looks sharp. At first some of the joy sticks were sticking a bit and drifting but after more and more use they corrected themselves. The battery life is good but at one point the controller stopped charging so I reached out to customer service--they provided some suggestions on how to fix it, which worked for a while but then had the same charging issue arise. They then sent a replacement controller and I haven't had any issues since. Would happily purchase from seller again.

Good for a while; failed ZR
This was a great controller out of the box. Easily connected and worked great. Unfortunately after a few months the right trigger (ZR) stopped working and now the controller is almost useless. We aren’t heavy users of the controller so it probably got around 20 uses before the trigger failed.

Great for Family play
This remote is great for that normal game play feel that you may not get from using the joy pads on their own. As a XBox gamer, it gives me familiarity when playing my wife on her Switch.
