Betsy-Tacy and Tib (Betsy-Tacy, 2)

I liked the way my granddaughters were so interested in what Betsy and Tacy and Tip enjoyed. The stories in the books seem real and well worth reading-- and they are. We are enjoying our time together.

I have loved the Betsy-Tacy books since I was 4 and was introduced to them. They are what made me want to learn to read, and I did learn as fast as I could. They are what made me want to write, and I am a writer. The book was as good as can be, for a little friend. The only disappointment to me is that I want the individual books to have the old pictures that we knew as children. I only find them in the older kid stories of Betsy-Tacy and in the- 4 -or- 5- books- in- one.

My kids loved reading this. The youngest was sick and we couldn't get to the library, so we bought the Kindle version and snuggled together and read! We all loved it and couldn't wait to get the next one. These stories are so funny and timeless. My kids are still talking about when Betsy, Tacy and Tib go "begging." Hilarious. We were glad to see the Lois Lenski illustrations in this edition, too.

This book was an ex library book and was hard cover. The outside was kind of beat up, but the inside was fine and the print size was great for my nine year old grand daughter. I gave it to her for her ninth birthday and told her it was used and that wasn't an issue at her party or with her family. It is such a classic book for girls her age and I remember it from my childhood.

Everyone will enjoy this book, the sequel to Betsy-Tacy.

I bought this for my grandaughter, as it was one of my favorites as a child. To this day, when I hear 'scarlet fever' mentioned, I recall how scary & mysterious this ailment was to me at the time from this book. Book was in good used condition, and arrived quickly.

This book is holding up to the demands of an elementary library. The classic story, sweet and kind, still appealing.

I loved the Betsy, Tacy, Tib books in the 50's, my daughter loved them in the 80's, and I have gotten the books, since, as gifts for other little girls who have great imaginations and a sense of fun and friendship. Wonderful stories!

Now that my daughter is confident in chapter books. I was looking for something that would encourage her love of reading but also speak to her young innocent heart. She loves this series.
