the color was exactly what i wanted. i did test it on an old towel before i started spraying my dining room chairs. the dye goes a long way i was able to do all 6 chair pads and a table runner to match them. very happy with the results. it definately works best doing light coats letting it dry then spraying again. the chairs were stained and i was going to try to reupholster but i that is costly and a lot of work so i figured i would try this first and im glad i did.

The spray can does not spray evenly thus it is very difficult to get the material to accept the paint acceptably. I tried it on both a cotton and nylon fabric's and it did not work as expected. I followed the instructions to the T and sprayed very lightly multiple times but the spray came out in a spitting spray rather than a smooth spray that I am accustom to with regular spray paints. I would save my money and just buy whatever new rather than do this again.

This was an experiment with an bedroom bench that we were ready to discard. I have used "fabric sprays" in the past with mixed results. Usually the items come out stiff and wind up getting thrown out anyway. Not so with this product! I was intrigued because it said it was a "dye" and not a paint. The bench came out beautifully and we couldn't be happier. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully and do not rush. Give the item time to dry in between coats. You'll be happy with the results!

Treated two living side chairs, average size. It took 25 cans to cover chairs, armchair covers and cushions. The color, as applied, is a nice rich blue. HOWEVER, after three weeks of applications, first week 7 cans, nowhere near enough, then a week later 12 cans, still thin spots, then a week later, another 6 cans and waited one more week to paint wood surfaces satin black and add leg sliders. After one week after the last coats, the surfaces are to the weak side of sticky, I’ll describe it as icky and quite stiff. Very nasty and uncomfortable feeling when sitting in it. As I said they look fantastic, but sitting in them? yecch! When you get up, you can feel a very slight pull of “stickiness”. It makes one want to look at ones clothes to see if there was any color transfer. Thankfully there appears to be none. The only chance of this “icky stiff going away is maybe after weeks of waiting. Our already being discussed alternative is to put blanket throws on the chairs (essentially defeating the color change purpose in the first place!). The way they are now, no one will want to sit in them and I certainly will not make company do so!

i wanted to try the spray but was a little skeptical on how it would cover and i have had problems in the past with other sprays not working. so i bought this new simply spray and tested it on 4 kind of ugly khaki throw pillows my mother gave me i figured if they looked horrible couldn't be any worse. well i sprayed one pillow and i was surprised how well it covered and the color was really nice even over that horrible khaki. i barely used any of the product so i did the other 3 pillows all with one can. i like the spray control its a little addicting im looking for more stuff to spray. over all a good experience. i mostly like that it is safe to spray indoors and doesn't smell like other spray paints and the look and feel of the fabric is very nice after drying. i gave it 4 stars because it did get all over my hands and had to scrub to get it off my hands

I would have thought for the money it would have covered more and I sprayed a faded hammock from the sun and it as careful as I was bled through the other side---not impressed with that happening.

it perfectly matched the cushions on my other chairs-had to use 2 bottles but it worked great.

Takes way more product than I'm willing to buy at $25.00 per can. Better off to buy a new chair. Also, chair is not soft, has a hard rough feel but it does not rub off onto your clothes. would recommend to buy new furniture as opposed to spending way to much for numerous cans of this rough hard scratchy dye.
