Clapper The Original Home Automation Sound Activated Device, On/Off Light Switch, Clap Detection, As Seen On TV

I couldn't use the device as intended to turn off evening reading lights, but worked great in my garage. Not my first clapper. I always smile when I use it. A little bit of lighthearted fun in my day.

Wow, works perfectly. I simply clap and my wall light comes on and off. The wall lamp is 5 1/2 feet from the floor and I was constantly plugging & unplugging to operate instead of standing and reaching up for the switch. The clapper is so convenient. Highly recommend. Getting another for the bedroom lamp.

It has 3 settings. high , low and away. I don't know what away is but the low and high mean how sensitive the clapper is to your claps. On low , I slam my hands together Really Loud and sometimes I have to do this 2 or 3 times. I am strong so it should work once. Hence Low is no good for me. On High, once in a while there will be a loud sound like a book being slammed down on a table and the clapper will turn on or off the lamp. But this is rare. So I have it on High and am happy with it.

surprisingly ineffective... just doesn't work well at all... tried two claps or three claps of various lengths and volumes and it is not consistent... just avoid and find a different solution as this is NOT dependable

Bought this as a birthday present. Installation was a breeze. Plug and go. I really like the concept however it is too sensitive and challenging to clap on and off. That’s disappointing. It can cut on if some one walks in or cut off from the tv talking.

Don't understand why there are mixed reviews for it not being a good value for the money. I've had this in our outdoor smoke room for over three years now and it has gone through snow, wind, rain, and hell and it still outperforms any Amazon purchase we have made as a family since. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a highly versatile alternitive option for a light switch. It takes less time to fart out two sequences of sound then it does to flick a switch, and is more fun. BARB DEFINITELY APPROVES. 😊😏😂⚰️

Ease of use, works great anywhere and is barely noticed

Got this because toddler often falls asleep while we are reading books and wanted a way to turn off the light without moving them, and this did just that. It takes some getting used to in terms of the “sound” the clap should make but it works wonderfully and just what you’d expect

always wanted to own one of these ever since I watched Bruce Almighty as a child. It works remarkably well - one bit of advice though, if you do intend to use this in the UK, make sure you get a device that'll drop from 220v+ to 120v- otherwise the device you plug into it, will try and draw more power than this device can supply voltage wise, and it may cause an electrical fire!

Tienes que acostumbrarte a lograr el tono y volumen adecuado, pero si tu lo logras el equipo funciona, en mi casa me han odiado por estar aplaudiendo en la madrugada...
