Motorsport Products 92-5012 Black MX Hydraulic Scissor Lift

This lift is not your typical lightweight stand, this sucker is heavy and stable. To be clear, as well constructed as it is, I wouldn’t advise using it for bikes heavier than dirt bikes. Although, I have thrown it in the trailer and transported it a few times, I think it is better served as a dedicated shop tool, but to each their own. It holds the bike securely with the spring hooks attached to the pegs that prevents tip over. The bike can be raised pretty high which allows work to be done in a civilized manner. The safety bar ensures that if elevated the height will remain secure for extended periods of time. The only small issue that I personally have is when the stand is at rest it is a little bit high and I have to wrestle the bike on or off of the stand. I am sure that there may be better commercial stands out in the market that I haven’t found, but this stand was worth my money.

This stand is a game changer wouldn't working on your bike in the garage. It's way more stable than I ever imagined. The only downfall is it's a bit heavy, but it has to be in order to be that stable I love this stand it has made working on my bike so much more enjoyable.I highly recommend the stand for anyone who enjoys working on their bike and is sick and tired of bending over all the time or kneeling or laying on the ground.This thing is fantastic

Very sturdy and stiff base. This is a heave item. The hydraulic jack is defective and it won’t start lifting any weight unless I assist it for the 1st inch by lifting up the motorcycle to take some weight off the stand. Once it goes up an inch it easily lifts to the full height which is higher than I will ever need. The foot pedal connection to the jack relief valve to lower the platform is nice (much better than bending down to turn a valve knob) and is smooth and easy to let down slowly. This unit fully collapsed is about 2” too tall to fit under my CRF250L. I have to use a rear swingarm stand to raise the bike up first. I would prefer a shorter collapsed height and give up some full extended height. The size of the jack underneath won’t permit shortening the stands legs. I would give it a 5 rating if the hyd jack wasn’t defective. Cardboard box was bear-up bad but double box prevented any damage to the item.

Very stable and easy to use. Makes doing maintenance to my motorcycle a lot easlier.

Well worth the money. Lifts higher than needed and is surprisingly steady. Way better than milk crates or track stands.
