jAc Black Beret 100% Wool French Parisian Hat

I ordered this product for my 11-year-old daughter to wear in a school play in which she will be playing a French woman. It is exactly as we expected and looks nice on her and on me :) The material is soft and the hat is a nice, deep black. We are very pleased with this purchase, and we would order it again. I was also pleased with this seller. it fit my head just right if you have a larger head than 7 1/4 it won't fit. It is very warm and will work just fin in the winter i don't wear hats and caps that much but i order this cap because it could be warn a few diffrent ways oh i cut the little stub on top of my cap off.

This hat was the PERFECT addition to our son's 7 year pictures with an "artist" themed session, so of course a french artist beret was a MUST for this session. It was a little big but, the pictures still turned out really cute & I think it gave it almost a "Norman Rockwell" like charm of a child playing dress up while painting in the middle of a field. So, the fit wasn't that big of a deal to me, I'm just happy we found it! It's not very often you see artist berets anymore & I think it gave this session a classic & timeless touch for this type of photo session. I mean, what a fun session do to for a kid who sees stuff like this on cartoons but never actually gets to use them - unless you go on Amazon, where you can find just about anything! ;) So, while I was very happy with it, I do wish there were other sizes & that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I know I will plan to use it for other sessions in the future, maybe for older kids like my daughter.

I had decided to wear a hat this year but wanted the original 100% wool beret. I was so happy to find the company with a reputation for excellence. I am totally satisfied with this item !!

The hat arrived as expected. Ive warn it several times and always put it in my coat pocket when I took it off. It has lost a lot of its shape, but that could be because I keep sticking it in my pocket. Maybe berets have special maintenance that I dont know about. I wanted a wool beret because NY winters are brutal and wool stays warm. It hasnt disappointed me on that front. Its no longer the hat I reach for first, but im never disappointed when im wearing it in the cold.

It's nice and the fit is perfect but it has stretch if you need it. Pet fur easily sticks to it but literally who cares just use a lint roller on it every now and then and you'll be ok! I ordered it on Nov. 21 and it came on Dec. 5 so it came early. Doesn't have a tracking number.

This beret started shedding wool fibers as soon as I put it on, rendering it unwearable. The black fibers got all over my hands and clothes. I've never had a wool product do that. A total waste of money.

The color was supposed to be gray. The color I received is greenish.
