Recommended and rated a great buy.
My review is based on actual jewelry repair. I originally purchased the Hughes epoxy 330. They say it's an industry standard. I found it doesn't work as described. My wife's heirloom jade bracelet broke at both glued points with 48 hours. The Vigor Epoxy worked, it's clear, very solid adhesion.. What i also liked about the Vigor is it's formulated to be waterproof, including salt water and hot tubs. The Hughes 330 is not.

Almost as strong as soldering
I used it to glue the bezel to the ring. Then I glued the stone to the bezel. I used a very small amount of the epoxy and it held extremely well. Obviously soldering is stronger, but this is extremely close to soldering. The epoxy did not have an extremely strong odor either. It dries clear. I used alligator clips to hold the glue in place for 24hrs. Extremely strong glue. Would definitely buy again.

Holds like a rock!
Used this to make Bolo ties out of Masonic Lodge coins. Both to hold the clip on the back and the tips on the 3mm bolo cord. I used acetone to clean the back of the coins and the clip surface. I tried a hammer and screw driver and was not able to break free. We are selling these as fund raisers.

Amber Earring Invisibly Repaired
This was very easy to use. I used it to repair a Baltic amber earring. The earring had a long amber drop that had broken into two pieces where there was an inclusion. I glued the two pieces back together and you can’t even see where the repair was made.

Pearl Ring Repair
I used this because the pearl on my ring fell off and I didn't want to not have my lovely pearl ring. Using it was fairly easy, a simple one:one ratio of the two. I used a toothpick to place the glue inside the hole on the pearl and on the peg it was to sit on. I didn't really notice a SUPER powerful smell to the adhesive mixture but there was a scent, so I do recommend using this with windows open or with good airflow. I've had this glue on my ring for almost a year now and it is still holding! I also did not need much at all so I still have almost the entire containers left! Definitely a worth while purchase, the use and functionality of the product are definitely worth it for anyone who has jewelry!

This is a no for me…
Did a lot of research to see what the best adhesive was for repairing and attaching metal pieces to semi precious stones and stumbled across the vigor jewelers epoxy. After reading the reviews, I went ahead and purchased it. I needed something permanent to bond peg bail caps on half drilled malachite beads. I followed all of the instructions. Made sure both the peg cap and malachite were sanded down where the epoxy was to adhere. Mixed 1:1 ratio very well and applied to both the peg cap and the malachite bead. I also took an eye pin with some epoxy to place inside the hole of the bead just to make sure that it will adhere well on the inside of the bead. Left it to cure for over 24 hours and the epoxy only lasted a couple of hours after curing for an entire day. The bead just fell off the peg cap and onto the floor. For this price range, I would want this to be a permanent bond. Not just 2 hours. I have better luck with jewelers super glue than this but because I’m working with someone expensive beads, I figured this would be a much better option. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
