The sound this thing makes is so satisfying! I bought this to keep at work and it isn’t so loud that it bothers others but helps me focus.

Only problem is that it starts to squeak after a while

I'm all about fidget spinners and clicky items, but this one is a bit too much... like giving a toddler a squeak toy. The device is small and the whole thing fits easily into the palm of your hand (even if you have small hands), and you can spin it around as shown in the (overly long but ultimately useful) video. The problem? It clicks constantly, and it's not a gratifying click, just a perpetual nuisance. I actually got this for my son who likes fidget spinners, and even he was complaining about the noise after 45 seconds--and he was the person using it. This is definitely not something you can use while in class or on a phone call because it will distract people. The description also says you can use it for massage, but you really can't unless you've got a guinea pig that needs a boost - it's really too small for most humans and would be too pokey for an infant. It's just a stress clicker that will annoy everyone within 20 feet

This fidget toy does one thing - the balls roll and circle each other. Using a single hand you spin the balls. As purely a fidget spinner I think it's great. Having a child who almost requires tools like this I know firsthand that some fidget toys work while others don't purely dependent on the person. You don't always know what's going to work until you try it. This one works for us.As for the other product claims, I'm more than skeptical. I used it against my bare skin and the feeling is unpleasant to say the least. Against clothing is better, but if you're looking for something for massage etc. there are far better tools than this. My recommendation is to not purchase this for this purpose. In my opinion this is a fidget spinner and nothing else. Buy it for that purpose. And if that's what you need, I can recommend it without hesitation.

Looking at the product photos, I was expecting very large, single plastic balls to roll around in each hand. This fidget ball set is actually connected through the middle of the two, so you can push one ball through your thumb and middle finger if you pinch one of the balls that way. It sounds like a ratchet when you turn the ball one way, and is pretty quiet the other way. That sound can be soothing to you, albeit there's the potential for it to become agitating for others. It comes in a tiny zippered case with an elastic band in the middle of one of the clamshell halves, so that it's held in place. The little case that comes with it is very well made, and while the aluminum fidget cube I got recently is my favorite fidget toy/tool, this one has soothing elements in the raised areas of the ball surfaces, as well as the sound it makes when you're manipulating it.Good to have in your fidget toolbox!

Standard fidget spinner type. Small but still wieldy.

This is a great hand-massager; my hands are always hurting, and this helps a LOT. Also good on shoulders, though on there it's a bit more awkward to keep it where I want it. I think it also makes a great fidget toy, though that's not the main reason I got it, but it's definitely fun to play with, and makes a very satisfying clicky sound as it turns.

Hubby is a mechanic, and often has stiff sore hands. He also fidgets with the remote! So this lil contraption helps massage hand muscles, and avoids channel surfing!!! Win Win!

I have wanted to try something like a fidget spinner for a while, and I was happy to receive this ball spinner!I really like the shape of this ball spinner. It fits easily and comfortably into your hand, and it is easy to hold onto, both because of the shape, and the textured surface.Speaking of the textured surface, it feels great as a massaging tool. It’s great to run between your hands before playing a musical instrument, or doing anything else that requires your hands to be loose and warmed up.The light clicking sound it makes is very pleasant. To me, it sounds kind of like a fishing reel. When you have used it for a while, sometimes it will develop a tiny bit of a squeak, but the pleasant clicking sound is definitely the sound you hear first.It is also sturdy. Mine has been dropped onto a hardwood floor, and it did not damage it. I don’t recommend dropping it of course, but if you do, it will likely be fine. Plus, it comes a with a great little carrying case for when you are not using it. I really like the case, as it keeps it from getting lost.I absolutely recommend this Ball Spinner for anyone, whether for stress relief, massage, or to improve focus (which it definitely does for me)!
