Another great knife
I have the original version of this knife which I love. This version is also great. The blade and handle are each about 1/4” longer than the original. The blade is thicker and the cord that ties into the handle of the ferro rod, doesn’t have the plastic piece at the end which can get pretty annoying at times because when the knife is clipped onto my pack it bounced against making a noise every time I step, thankfully the new version is just a cord that you can customize without a plastic knob at the end.The belt clip is redesigned with some features that I don’t yet understand but maybe they aren’t really anything. The knife is still brand new to me but it still speaks to the same no nonsense quality I’ve come to rely on Mora Knives for.

Great camping tool!
This mora knife came razor sharp as usual. This version has a stainless blade material and a very nice ferrocerium rod in the handle. It throws great sparks using the squared top edge of the blade. A better rod than most. A great value that is both convenient and practical. I highly recommend this product.

Best introductory survival knife
This knife comes very sharp and the spine is able to not only be a striker for the ferro rod but also can be used to help make tender from wood by rubbing it against the spine and making fuzz from the stick. Then the striker has something that will light. The knife stays in its sheath well and the clip works on anything without needing to wear a belt to wear it. This knife works as a kitchen tool or pocket knife and is strong and thick but the bevel makes it perform like a kitchen knife. The price is right for all scouting use and can handle lots of damage so it’s good for teens and adults.

What a deal
The quality of this knife is fantastic. I had to get one after a bunch of friends had them and were really happy. Once I got it, I realize why they love it. You will not be disappointed with this blade. For the price I was really shocked at the quality of knife I got. I recommend everyone get one or two if you want a huge value for your dollar.

Great starter knife!
This knife is very sharp out of the package, the spine is 90° sharp for striking the ferro rod. This is great as a first knife for camping/bushcraft. It seems very durable from all the YouTube videos I watched on these knives to decide on which on to get.
