Easy assembly, twenty minutes.Extremely solid and sturdy. Excellent hardware.I have one of these and a similarly sized teak stool. This one is more favored and gets more use. It is a an excellent piece of traditional bedroom, boudoir, studio or dressing room furniture.It is a bit rustic, so it may not be suitable in formal decor. I have a mix of both and a lot old furniture so it matches the eclectic decor in my boudoir studio frolicking room. It's a heavy, solid, substantial, supportive and well crafted 20 inch stool that will last a long time with extensive and intensive use.I did have to apply a little bit of wood filler to the seat surface. Hardly noticeable blemish with the woodgrain, and a small but very noticeable knot. The description does say knot-free, but there is a knot in the center of the seat, and it had a tad bit of rough grain around it. No big worry for me; matter of fact, I enjoyed smoothing it out and burnishing to a silky finish. Not bad at all given the excellent price point at 67 US dollars, and it touched up nicely anyway.

I love these stools because they hold a lot of weight and they are super comfortable and stable. They look great with our furniture too. The varnish smell is strong when you first put them together but it dissipates quickly. We just left them in the garage for a few days and then it wasn't noticeable at all. Love them!

Purchased this for my mom. She needed to be able to elevate her feet and at first she wanted me to send it back. I had put in a request to return. But I waited instead and glad I did because it was the perfect height and size to place another product I purchased on Amazon on top of this still to cushion her feet and elevate them to the proper height. Solid wood and super sturdy, highly recommend!

These are great! Can be a bit tricky to assemble as the holes for the cylinder nut are large and the nut can get out of alignment easy. But once everything is assembled and tight, they all sat perfectly flat and stable. Nice rustic look to go with our pool/dining table, saved a lot of money over another bench that matches the table. They do sit right at 20" which is perfect for our situation even though the box they come in states 18" height. I removed the hard plastic floor glides as we have LVP and I put felt pads on them to protect the floor. Like I said, no wobbles, they all sit flat and stable. Great for the price.

Beautiful, functional, easy-ish to put together… the problem was me, kinda and maybe the instructions too. I put it in the balcony, because I felt the smell of the finish, but it wasn’t too strong, but it was enough, for an enclosed area without ventilation. The stool looks nice, almost like a table, I put my little fan on, and it was looking pretty! It’s is plenty big for wide hips also, comfortable, well packed, attractive enough…pleasant to look at, also heavy enough…substantial, around 20 pounds, it’s a robust piece, that can become an instant, I felt that you were around since forever, piece. Because it’s very versatile, I think that I can place this by the door, to put my shoes on, no shoes inside… like the Japanese way. When I move to a permanent place. Just ordered one, to eat in the corner of the kitchen, my place is small, but beautiful, and this piece is perfect for virtually any place., small or big …I think that it was a fair price, for such a versatile piece of furniture. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the materials. The wood is solid and sturdy and looks just like the pictures.However! One of the heads of the bolts was completely flat; there was no intention into which one could fit the end of the tightening tool. See the picture.Fortunately, all of the other bolts tightened extremely well, and I was able to use a pair of pliers to get the defective bolt at least tight enough.
