The compass is high quality. Quickly shipped in time for my husband’s birthday. He teared up. It’s truly stunning. It’s a gift to impress. The seller shipped fast. I’m very impressed by this compass.

I know nothing about compasses, this was a requested birthday gift. Came in in a very nice looking box, looked very interesting, very nicely made. Excellent gift. That’s all, as I said, I do not know nothing about compass divides. This was a requested birthday gift from my son in law who is a graduated Eagle Scout .

The compass/sundial itself is beautifully made and seems accurate (being that it's analog) when compared against my Samsung phone's compass.The inscription on the back is came out exactly as pictured by others.The box is very nice but the clasp is merely plated aluminum.

I bought this as an anniversary gift for my husband. The engraving made it unique and esspecially perfect. We had a bit of a hickup with the compass but the merchant made everything work to our satisfaction. It took a little time but things are busy this time of year. We are very pleased with the purchase!😄

The initial item arrived with the rear cover off. Also the letter 'A" attachment on the front, per seller's photo was missing. The loop to hang it broke off the first time I tried to use it! I contacted seller, per Amazon Customer Service to return it, get a replacement, etc.Seller told me it was non-replaceable and made me write a detailed report and he finnlly responded offering me replacement at no charge.The replacement unit arrived today and I am very satisfied!!!!

Not only did this turn out beautiful and perfect, but I contacted the seller about possibly getting it shipped by a certain date [my two year anniversary gift for my husband] and it arrived ON our anniversary! Weeks before it was supposed to arrive. It was perfect.It was super important and personal. Had a piece of a quote from a T.S. Eliot poem read at our wedding “We shall not cease from exploration...” Also, we had our first baby this year. A son named North and the compass represents him as well.Just perfection! 🖤

First item came in, it was defective. When asked to return, the company advised no return, they would send another one to which they handled professionally. Second one received was fine. After seeing the product and how it was engraved, I would only give three star as price is expensive for item received.

The compass arrived extremely fast and oddly enough that’s a bit of my complaint. I bought this as a gift to myself and overall I love the look, weight, and feel of the compass. My issue is that I feel like the work was rushed. There are a few rough spots and one angle that’s a tad too sharp. My main complaint is that there is a serious issue with getting the compass to latch properly. For the money I spent, I should at least have a compass that closes in one or no more than two clicks and stays shut. It’s a good thing this is for me as I could never gift this compass to another person. That said, I love the look of the engraving and I love it as my little personal inspiration piece.
