I got this beautiful baby girl as a Christmas present last year!!! I named her Serena and I have fallen in love with her even more as the months have passed since I received her! At first when I opened her box my first thought was "Huh, she doesn't really look like the picture online...." My second thought was that she had a strong chemical smell... You might be thinking well why did you give her five stars then? And the answer to that question is because after I realized that she's EVEN CUTER in person than on the picture and that the smell went away within a couple days, I began to overlook those minor details and began to really look at her even more, cuddle with her and just enjoy her!!! I began to realize that she is an absolute angel, like I said as the days went on I continued to love her even more!!! Overall she is just so amazing and adorable and she's pretty much what I've always wanted. I have even gotten many people that think she is a real baby! She fits newborn clothing perfectly and 0-3 months is a bit big but pretty cute for sleepers (if the item is 100% cotton then you could shrink it and it would fit well) She is amazingly weighted and I love her SO much!!! Paradise galleries makes AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL dolls! And ever since Happy Teddy I have looked in to other dolls from this company they're all amazing but so far Happy Teddy is my favorite! I have seen so many negative reviews about her when really she is a sweet little bundle of joy! She is not a waste of money at all and if you're a smart positive person, I'm sure you'll love her just as much as I do! Thank you for reading my review and I really hope this helped!!! Oh and P.S. people are wondering if she pees or cries or if a pacifier can fit in her mouth... She does not pee or cry as she is pretty much a collectible doll that is fairly fragile... But I would like to say that a pacifier actually can fit in her mouth! You just have to cut about 3/4 of the nipple off (start out cutting small amounts as you do not want to overcut) then you just press the pacifier into her mouth and it stays really well and she looks adorable with it in! Sorry I made my review so long I just had SO much to say about this lovely baby girl!!! After searching for several weeks for a "real" baby doll for my 4-year old daughter's Christmas gift, I am very happy that I decided to purchase this one. Some of the more expensive versions seemed too fancy to play with, but this one is the perfect combination of beautiful and believable with rugged. The weight is nice, and I know my daughter will love pretending to be her momma on Christmas day! The skin color is darker tham it appears online, but her face is much nicer overall. I chose this one because of her light hair and blue eyes, although I wasn't in love her her face. I was pleasantly surprised! She is far cuter in person. She came perfectly packaged, with ribbons holding her into the box (not twist ties or wires!). I beamed from ear to ear as I opened her--I felt like a child as I carefully unveiled her. I know my daughter is going to adore her for many, many years. I wish the baby's body wasn't quite so full of stuffing (her weighted beans are only in her bottom--the rest is puffy filling), as that makes her seem less real. Also, the smell is pretty bad, but I think it will wear off. I usually am not one to complain, but she really smells like a nursing home or something. No matter--I still adore her, and know my daughter will, too! The price might be steep, but I think it will be a long-term value.

My 4 year old loves this baby. I realize this is more of a collector’s doll but she is careful with her babies and it was worth the money to me to get her a realistic doll for Christmas.This doll is well made and very cute. Her skin is a little too pinkish, which my daughter noticed but it doesn’t bother her. Also, her hair is a little coarse. She is snuggly soft with a cloth body and soft, plastic limbs. Her cheeks are squishable. She is a little misproportioned. Her bottom is over sized, I think so she’ll sit and snuggle well, which she does, but it makes diapering and dressing slightly difficult. Her cloth body is weighted and feels about 5-6 pounds. She is not too heavy for my 4 year old.I really wanted a full silicone bodied doll but they are crazy expensive! I feel I got a good deal with this baby for the price. She really is cute and my daughter loves her! In my opinion she would be a great collector or for an elderly person to snuggle with.

I purchased this doll for my Mother who has dementia . A recent stroke caused extreme agitation. The doll has been wonderful, My mother sleeps with the doll and holds it most of the time. The facility aids use it to help calm the agitation. The hands and feet are "life like". I keep clothes on the doll due to the cloth body and upper arms and legs. The body is weighted in the bottom and actually feels like you are holding a real baby. The hair is thick but when it gets messed up you can see the hair plugs. The clothes have been washed several times in really hot water and have not come apart or faded. I would recommend purchasing different sets of outfits so the baby is not in PJs all the time.

I know that these dolls are not specifically for children, but my 6 yo daughter loves this doll. This is her second one. The first has dark hair and this one has blonde hair. They look very real. Once my daughter brought the doll into church and when leaving I scooped it off the pew and got some really funny looks until they realized it was a doll. My daughter loves to get real baby clothes that are on clearance for this baby. The doll weighs around 8# so it is heavier than regular dolls and more like a real baby. Overall, it is a great doll, although more expensive that a regular play doll but it is the doll my daughter plays with everyday so it is worth it.
