HCDZ Replacement Remote Control for Oppo UDP-203 UDP-203CN UDP-205 BDT-101CI 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Player

My original remote for Oppo UDP-203 went kaput last year. I used the IOS remote control on my iPhone for a while but then it starts having issues finding the 4K DVD as more IOS got upgraded.I ordered this unit without expecting anything. It arrived quickly(10 days earlier than expected). Even though my 4K DVD is using Code 3 on the DVD, the new remote works flawlessly.Good buy indeed!

This is sold as "HCDZ Replacement Remote Control for Oppo UDP-203 UDP-203CN UDP-205 BDT-101CI 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Player". So let's go through the picture and examine its complete lack of attention to detail:1) It has a button to launch Netflix and another for Vudu, when it's meant for three players that do not have any streaming services at all by design.2) It has the four color buttons in each Blu-ray player, which are Red, Blue, Yellow and... Dreeg. OMFG!!!3) While my UDP-203 doesn't have something called Pure Audio, I'm not sure it's not in the superior model USP-205. However, if it does have it, I could bet my house that it's called "Pure Audio" and not "Pure Audi", unless when you press this button in this specific remote control, an Audi vehicle materializes in your driveway. But I seriously doubt that's the case.4) In the most pathetic design I've ever seen, the transport buttons such as play, pause, etc, are all the same size as a bunch of other buttons for functions that are not used anywhere near as much, and are lost in the lower group of those buttons. No matter how crappy a remote control is, if it is for any type of disc player, the play, pause, rewind, fast forward, previous and next track buttons are always going to be given prominence in location and size because they are used more than the rest.Yeah, I don't need to buy this remote to know that it's a piece of garbage. I do need a replacement remote for my Oppo player, but I'll stay far from the HCDZ brand.

Buttons are smaller, no backlight, no A-B switch to use with two different players. I'd pay for a higher quality remote.

I like the fact that it seems to be a perfect replacement for the remote I lost.
