This product does the job quite well for security and or watching what a child is up. Picture quality is great and the app is generally very good. If you don't buy the cloud subscription (which is per camera) then I would recommend an sd card for storage if security is your thing. Some of the advertised benefits require the cloud subscription, just to note.We bought it initially as a baby monitor but I would say that there is some delay when checking the camera (due to WiFi) and the notification is a generic sound on the app. So I would still recommend even a basic baby monitor for sound detection and this to check up on them.

If I had reviewed this item during the first few days, I might have given it five stars. The motion tracking is great, the picture quality and sound is great including night vision. When you're using their cloud service, being able to use the timeline itself to find specific events is very helpful, and the fact that entire events are recorded rather than just the first few seconds. Also being able to download the footage easily.However, if you're not willing to pay $100 a year for their cloud services, you lose a lot of functionality. 12 second clips every now and then, even when you're using an SD card, just doesn't feel like a good deal. And there doesn't seem an easy way to download clips and footage once you stop paying for their cloud service.But the worst thing is that I've had to switch off motion tracking because the camera is determined to just look down all the time now. The tracking occasionally works, and the rest of the time the camera just looks as far down as it can and isn't even observing the room at all. What a total waste.Overall very disappointed.

Really hard to manage the device well. I’m good with tech so this was frustrating. Wouldn’t recommend and put aside after a few weeks unfortunately.

A great item and very reasonably priced. Works with ifttt and google home. It’s a great alternative to a baby monitor that integrates into your smart home setup. A great buy!

I use this to view people that come in to leave parcels when I remotely open my front door when I’m out works with Alexa works remotely does what it supposed to. Fit for purpose

I like the android app. It is easy to set up and the picture quality is good enough (probably 2MP). Night vision is good. I use it as a baby monitor and it can send alerts when it detects a sound as well. The off function is also good when you do not need the camera. Face recognition and cloud recording cost extra, but even without them the camera is perfect for security as well.

For the price this is a decent bit of kit! It is perfect for our intended purpose. The night vision is especially good; better than we anticipated. We had the joys of watching on the recording one morning a drunk guy fall on to our lawn and hobble back up again and be on his merry way. Would recommend just for that reason alone tbh... i jest, this is the perfect security option and you will not regret purchasing it.
