Of all of the Sqwencher products, this is my favorite, for ONE reason only, NO DYES! I can't wait for the other flavors to remove the garbage colors from them. Red Dye 40 causes an allergic reaction in me and others. However, Cool Citrus has none of that! wahoo! I love citrus flavor, I prefer lemonade, but the yellow dye also kills me. If It weren't for the dyes, and the ever increasing costs to buy these products, I'd be drinking them all day, every day. They are great for hydration and replenishing those electolytes that we loose in the heat of the summer and in daily exercise. I prefer this product for hydration over any other and the cool citrus zero for the no sugar, no dye factor. it is a win win!

I totally ruined a 72 hour fast by taking this to replace electrolytes without reading the label. Maltodextrin, which is the sweetener here, spikes insulin. This not only ruins a fast if you're goals are stem cell and immune system renewel, but repeated small hits of Maltodextrin can train your body to chase the spike-crash cycle through intense sugar cravings (one of the things I was trying to train my body out of with the prolonged fast) So, although these are (in my opinion) the best tasting electrolytes drink by far- they aren't good if you've got some health goals. Probably also not good for diabetic issues.

Bright flavor!

Great taste in better electrolytes than some of the other leading brands. It's a little hard to mix and get it all dissolved. Don't MIX it in ice water mix a little in warm water, then add cold water.

I LOVE this product. My brother-in-law introduced me to it years ago. My husband and I both workout a lot and this makes it SO easy to mix up and go. We even take extras with us when we travel on long trips, especially if the destination will be hot or somewhere where we will be hiking or doing other vigorous activities. The flavor is awesome, especially because you can dictate how strong or light your drink is by how much you mix in your water. I love the variety of flavors, especially the citrus. Overall, great product!

First thing off the bat, this doesn't taste like whatever drink you're likely to be thinking of. It's got a citrusy, grapefruit-reminiscent flavor that's pretty unusual for American sports drinks. The closest thing I can think of that has a similar taste is a Japanese sports drink called 'Pocari Sweat' (gotta love those Japanese names....), though the Squinchers is a bit on the tangier side even than that. So long as you aren't expecting any particular flavor you should enjoy it. The little packets are really easy to use, have never yet broken open while keeping them in my bag, and taste pretty good for a zero-calorie sports drink. I recommend you mix them ahead of time as they seem to taste better after sitting for a few hours, but they're not bad even when drunk seconds after shaking. There will probably be a few little clumps at the bottom if you drink it right after mixing but I didn't find them to interfere with the flavor much.

My former employer provides these for the employees. I recently found a packet in my jacket, so I went to Amazon and found them and made an ordered. I do enjoy these and will try more flavors.

Flavors fine in the ones that aren’t hard as rocks, and those are half the bag. Not sure if they’re expired but exactly half are hard as a rock
