A. Very good summer read very entertaining and enjoy able some parts sad

Wow. I have read so many books and said this is the one I love most......well ......this is the one I love the most. Ever,Just about cried on the first page and I know I cried on the last. Finished this book in three days, could have been less but needed to sleep and do other things. Enjoy! Relax! Cry! It does a person good! Honest!

I loved this story so much. Luanne Rice is one of my favorite authors. She has a way of making her readers really feel what her characters are going through. Even what could be a tragic ending is turned into something special.

I love so many books by Luanne Rice. This one again, pulls at my heart and reminds me to believe in so many good things in life, love, family and people who care about others. I enjoy that it was a quick read and invigorates my faith in wholesome loving people.

A beautifully woven story with the gift of honest emotions - love, frustration, disappointment, deep appreciation & awareness of the emotional gifts we receive from others that last a lifetime.

Even though I could predict the ending half way through the book, the story was so beautifully composed that I wasn't disappointed that I was correct. This is a very tender story of love that will pull at your "heart strings."

I felt many different emotions reading this book. I generally don't cry reading a book. I've enjoyed all of Rice's books I've read. Even though there's sadness in this book there are lessons to learn. I'd recommend this book to any woman.

Very sappy with everyone crying all the time. Also predictable. Enjoyed the Maine descriptions since I had been to the beautiful state several times and especially admire the hardly people who call it home.
