I really love these pencils! They blend very well and the colors are bright.I’m a wanna be artist but I do like quality products.The price was my main goal however these pencils compared to the other expensive brands are a very good alternative.

All the charcoal ones are broken and a graphite one.

I love how easy it is to transform from colored pencil to a full watercolor painting just by adding water. The colors are vibrant and well pigment even after using water. They blend very well and I don’t have to wait for things to dry so they don’t run. Nothing but good news for this product!

There are really good watercolor pencil and they are woodless pencils too. I bought this for my wife and she love it.

Great packaging on these watercolor pencils. The colors are fabulous!! This set is just what I was looking for. Great value!!

Not very pigmented. Presentation was superb. The box and packaging were so good I was tempted to keep this up, but the pigment payoff is extremely disappointing. Compared to Artesa, they are scratchy and weak in color. Each pencil had clearly marked writing with the brand, but they did not go the extra mile and put the color name or even a pigment number code. This is a huge deal for me, and some thing I look for in a brand. All in all, I wish Arteza Would use this type of packaging.

haven't tried them out yet, but everything arrived as described. The sketch pad that comes with it isn't suitable for watercolor tho (FYI), but good for sketching etc. Definitely a cute set for a gift!

A three unit complement of soft, medium, and hard woodless charcoal pencils and a full set of graphite woodless pencils. You get 18 Graphite pencils, 6 Charcoal pencils, and a small drawing pad, in a robust box. 2 X (EE, 12B, 10B, 8B, 6B, 4B, 2B, HB, 2H, and Soft, Medium and Hard). These tools feel nice in the hand. They have weight to them and don't leave a mess on your hands. They're a good companion to other pencils you might use. (hard stops at 2H). They sharpen easily and combined with the charcoal pencils can render nice and dark (stove black) with minimal shine if you apply it correctly. (Don't press harder to go darker, use a darker B) and don't polish the graphite by over applying. I dislike shiny graphite drawings - these help me avoid that, and still get 'black' blacks.DO NOT drop them. They will roll off your desk. They will break. You will be sad. Don't drop them.

A very good set of pencils and pad for the money. Good selection of colours and very well priced. Just ordered a second set.Compares very favourably to other woodless sets.

Firstly, the order arrived before the expected delivery date with absolutely no breakages. The pencils are in 4 separate trays with a foam lining and enclosed in a sturdy box with the sketch pad layered on top for added protection. These pencils are fantastic! They have a nice weight in the hand, lay on smoothly and blend out beautifully and easily. Other noted features of these pencils is the level of darkness they achieve in just one layer and the lack of shine when they are blended out. The 8B is almost as dark as charcoal and once blended out takes on a slightly matte tone. Definitely a great.

Beautiful pencils some are smoother then others and take the water better. Ex the red seems to not want to accept the water as well. But these are really nice and I’ve had a great time playing with them and mixing with gouache.Where it loses the star for me is the sketch book they comes with is not meant for water colour uses. So not sure why they included it.
