The Ancient Dead Sea Scroll Calendar: AND THE PROPHECIES IT REVEALS

Ken’s books are put together well and very informative… this one kinda boggles the mind!

The first most influential book in my life is the Bible. This book and Larry Wood’s book The Parable of the Dinar also have greatly impacted my life and appear to be complementary to each other. I highly recommend both.

Want to know when you can see God? Study this then make and keep your covenants and stand in holy places during His appointed times! Especially useful to Latter Day Saints!

This book is pretty much useless if you are a Christian just learning new information. Ken may not know but those of us in the Hebrew roots are eager to learn this because we care about the Feast Days. The way this calendar is calculated is phenomenally impressive. No more lunar calendar, even though it was cool, this system is far more logical. For people wondering, he explains that it’s a 364 day calendar and every 5-6 years you add a leap week to balance off the 365.24 Tropical year that was probably caused by some things God did in Joshua and Isaiah’s time. The Spring equinox is the standard for the beginning of the year and this system only allows you to be 3 days behind or ahead of the day of the equinox and you stay very close to the seasons exact timing. They even used the Menorah to mark when they add the leap week every year to keep track, it’s so cool...

Book came as advertised.

I just can’t get into this book

Ken Johnson has (again) painstakingly researched the subject (the Dead Sea scrolls calendar) and presented it in very clear, concise manner, thus making it accessible to anybody interested in building their Biblical knowledge. I highly recommend thus book!

Excellent book in large print and easily read. This is a comprehensive analysis, my only comment is whatever calendar we follow today the Earth is in a 365.242 orbit around the sun so corrections will be required. When the end time days are shortened for the sake of the elect, this can only be achieved by someone pushing the Earth back to the 364 orbit where it was before Joshua and ready for the Millennium. The authors explanation on p28 is not scientifically possible when moving the earths obit from 364 to 365.242 would make the sun appear to stand still for about a day.All recorded AM dating is of course back to Adam which is not necessarily the same as back to the first creation which has been an erroneous assumption by many. Still a very valuable contribution to our collective understanding and essential reading
