Case and Clip for Galaxy XCover Pro, Nakedcellphone [Blue/Black] Rugged Ring Grip Cover with Stand [Built-in Mounting Plate] and [Belt Hip Holster] for Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro Phone (SM-G715)

I do not really need the ruggedness of the phone and this case. I bought the phone because it has a removable battery. I bought this case because even indoors I could accidentally drop the phone and damage or destroy it. This isn't an Otterbox, but it is the next best thing (the Otterbox cases cover the front of the phones). I wondered if I would have any problems taking the phone out of the case if need be, but a little experimenting revealed that there is a nice way to do that from the finger holder on the back. The rotating clip is important to me because sometimes I want the phone horizontal and sometimes I want it vertical. I have not yet tried the magnet. All the ports (except the uSD one, put that card in before using the case) and controls are available and easy to use. Due to the added bulk, perhaps this case might be an overkill for some people, but I am obsessive about keeping my phone (and all my other toys) in new condition, so I am very happy with this case.

Do not waste your money in this case, wait for something better to come out!!The worst:The holster, it won't hold the phone locked, any bumping into someone or something will cause it to "unlock" from the holster and eventually, due to one's movement, it falls off.That's because, it only has 3 hooks that hold the phone in place (most cases have hooks in all 4 sides), if you wear the holster in a horizontal position (as I do, for more comfort) it definitely will fall off after a few minutes of walking.The case itself is not so bad, the embedded metal plate is very convenient for using with magnetic car holders.The lip that's around the edges offers not protection at all to the screen as it is sits at the same level, at most, it rises 1mm over the screen, as you can see that in the picture.Add that to the fact that the case doesn't come with a screen protector, it leaves your screen at the mercy of luck.I would return it, but I'll keep it til something better comes out, I guess that some protección is better that not protection at all.Plus it fits in the SupCase of my previous phone, so I'll use it in combination with that.Compared to other brands quality and price, a fair number for this would put it at $10, not $25

I bought this phone and case/holster with my work environment in mind. I'm outside in >100°F weather and dirt and water a big factor. So far the case has met my expectations. I have yet to test the strength of magnet on back of the case but just ordered a magnetic phone mount for my work vehicle. The phone The holster holds phone very firmly. Initially, i was pulling phone out by grabbing the sides of phone which wasn't ideal because i would end up accidentally pressing the xcover key on side of phone which i have set to open a work-related app. I now pull phone out by utilizing the finger holder on back of.the case. Just.pop it open, insert finger and slide phone right out! What will they think of next... I did have some trouble with fingerprint scanner while case was on but just added duplicate scan of fingerprint while case was on and issue has been resolved. This case does add some bulk to the phone's overall dimensions but as i said, this case/holster is used while I'm working only. Now the phone is rated to withstand harsh elements in its own right so case might not be necessary for some. The holster and magnet were the deciding factors for me. I needed my phone to be reachable while on a job site and i use navigation quite a bit while driving from site to site. At the time of my purchase i didn't see any other options that included a holster and magnet for the Galaxy xcover pro. I don't know if there is something better out there now but i am quite content with my purchase.

Thia case ia a must have if you are working man. Durable and overall great case. You will not be disappointed. Tested by construction worker and approved!

My husband is very hard on his phones while at work. He needed something durable to protect his phone. This is a GREAT case. You can use it with or without the clip.

Was worried it would be too much since the phone was already rugged but it worked perfect.

It's absolutely perfect. The case went on without a fight and the makes it feel very secure on the belt and in hand. All 5 buttons lined up and have had no issues with phantom presses.Somewhat surprised that that the color was exactly as expected looking identical to the image online. I'm sincere that this case exceeds all expectations so far and unless it literally falls apart in the next month
