Don't be afraid of it.
If you've ridden bikes even a little, you know how to twist the throttle, hang on and steer.Thumb pump sucks and it never gets better so the switch from thumb to twist is a no-brainer. Thumb throttles are unsafe because you can't use that opposable thumb to hang on since it's twitching back and forth on the gas.I've converted two TRX450ER's and would do it again. It's easy and you are completely safe. Don't believe the stories from fools that tell you they can't hang on to a twister on a sport quad and that you probably can't either. It's not going to throw you off the first time you hit the gas. I guess they are just not strong enough. That tells you they should get a side by side or something else.Do it. Once your done, you go for a ride and try it out - you'll kick yourself for waiting.
