TevaMen's Terra Fi 5 Universal Outdoor Sandals

These replaced a pair I'd had for several years which had seen a lot of use over all terrain types. Hopefully these will serve just as well.

If I can get away with not wearing shoes I will. Prefer sandals and barefeet to shoes any day of the week.but sometimes you need to cover more rugged ground.The grip of these on rougher ground and wet ground is great. I have used these in river crossings, in the sea, across muddy ground and even on a glacier, though they werent particulary useful on the ice, but then nothing else is either unless its got spikes.These are my goto for everything active requiring stability and grip but when I dont want to be burdened by a shoe or boot.The tread still has good depth but Im probalbly not as busy with active pursuits as was previously. There is a little rounding of the sharper edges in the tread. I would prefer a more premium sole.The materials are still holding up well though despite constant dunkings in water and muck and exposure to sunlight.Te strap system gives me great security when running around and jumping about as we all do.Definitely recommend these. cant compare them to Tevas of old as some people say the quality is not the same as original old school Teva. But these havent shown any failings yet. If they do I will come back and edit

Looking back, I have worn Teva sandals for many years now, including one pair of these Terra Fi's bought in 2019, and an earlier pair in 2015, both from Amazon. The 2015 pair are still usable but tatty now. The 2019 pair are still going strong. I wear them almost continually in the summer, including on the beach and for walking up Welsh mountains! I find them comfortable, grippy and odour free. In the wet on rough ground the straps need to be tightened up a bit to stop the foot sliding around inside the sandal. I am normally an 8.5 UK, but an 8 fits me perfectly. Great sandals, - a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for!

Teva make amazing sandals and this model look really great and feel like they could withstand lots of different terrain and hours of walking, but I haven't yet worn them outside much.This pair were to replace a returned pair in UK size 8.5, which were quite big and didn't fit like most of my other 8.5 trainers and shoes. The new size 8 ones were identical in style and fit much better, but there seems to be some obvious glueing of the blue textured strap covers onto the velcro straps. I wonder if they are a returned and reworked pair, because they don't look 100% fresh out of the factory. I don't know if this glueing is in all pairs of Teva sandals or if it's specific to this pair.... but I'm very happy with them, regardless. I hope to get a lot of use out of them out in nature.

These are comfortable sandals with a good soul, but that's where the good stuff ends. I find the straps to be too short which makes them awkward to put on and take off. The straps get bits of dried grass and dried bushes and other spiky stuff stuck in them if you use them to walk into a field with dried grass and bushes. When you pull out all the spiky stuff, the thread from the sandals all comes loose. I have only had these sandals for a year and I have not used them daily, but they look absolutely battered. I have a pair of Clarks sandals that are much older but they look newer because they are more durable for walking in fields full of dried grass and stuff. Because my Clark sandals have better straps, they are also easier to put on and take off.

Arrived quickly. Exactly what I ordered, they fit great, look great and are exceptionally comfortable. Extremely pleased with this purchase! More expensive than I was hoping but chose to go for quality on this occasion as my cost-saving on last couple pairs of sandals sacrificed comfort and longevity. Fingers crossed these last a good long time but just looking at the build quality I think they will.

The heel shoc-pads in these sandals make them really comfy for trail walking. The quality seems really good. These are my third pair of Teva's, my first pair (Teva Terra Dactyls) lasted 6 years before the straps finally let go from the base. My second pair (Teva Terra Float) are still going after another 6 years tho the sole is getting too thin to wear outside the house, and they've become slippy in the wet. Hoping that these Terra Fi 5's will give me a similar lifespan despite the use of so much recycled materials.The sole of these is much more like a hiking boot than either of my previous pairs which had flat soles with grip slots. I love em, and the olive colour with the jazzy bands is nicer than the plain black I've had twice now. Pricey, but worth it.

Teva sandals are pretty good quality. They last for years.My husband got them for our holiday.They were a bit pricey but they will last for a long time.

These sandals were very comfortable right out of the box. I wore them all over Costa Rica, through the rainforest, ziplining in the cloud forest and wandering around town. They have great traction and dried fast.

Soy 27MX (9 US) que fue el que pedí y me ha quedado perfectamente. Aclaro que tengo pie delgado y de largo y ancho me ha ido estupendo. Quedaron justas y cómodas. Considera ese dato si tienes pie ancho.Update Oct:Cambio a 3 estrellas por lo siguiente.La sandalia derecha se ha despegado la base interior y la correa externa trasera se ha soltado totalmente de la base. No muy contento con éste resultado en lo que creo un reducido tiempo de vida útil (5 meses).
