We all know that re:zero is phenomenal. But you know what isn’t phenomenal? The localization company YenPress. Every single volume that these unbelievably slow and incompetent translators release has at least one major blunder.This novels blunders by YenPress include: mistranslating Garfiels proverb about the Guiltylowe as well as the Guiltylowes name (Giltirau in YenPress speak), nearly all of the future-trial lines are unsurprisingly completely mangled by YenPress, and finally *skipped content*: YenPress decided to— as translators— delete a scene involving Emilia at the ruins from the novels. Why? Because YenPress, that’s why. Imagine if Japanese translators decided to delete an entire chapter or scene from Harry Potter just for the sake of it. “The spider scene makes us uncomfortable so we’ll just delete it and splice the remains together.”

Despues de por fin tener esperanza de victoria en el volumen anterior en este veremos como Subaru termina con la situacion en la mansion y el santuario. Ha sido en estos numeros cuando uno se da cuenta que el autor no piensa tener a los demas personajes solo mirando y empiezan a tener una participacion, muy acorde a lo que viene desarrollando la trama. Me encanto el volumen, lo recomiendo mucho

The translations were good and I did not feel as if they were off at any point and the story just keeps getting better and better

Perfect story.But some lines are so badly translated. "Choose me" turned into "Pick me"Yenpress doesnt hire good translation team despite such slow progress

My son loves this series, he’s 19 and loves this type of novels. Gets him to put the Console controller down for a bit.

Re:Zero is a great novel, but sadly the quality of the translations is just horrendous, i do like that the novel itself is thicker than usual, but aside from that i just keep it as part of my collection , i like all the visuals and all that, they look great, but the low quality of the translation is not worth it, as of today we are done with arc 5 and the quality of the translations seems to be getting worse as time goes on, this was the last volume of the main series i bought and it actually gave me the push to just start learning japanese and read the original japanese once i'm capable of doing so, so thats a positive side effect of YenPress' work i guess.

That the volume season 2 has ended on. Extra new information and series that blow mind me and many more people.
