The Original Sense-ation No-Pull Dog Training Harness (Red, Medium)

Harness is a bit filmsy. Recommended by a dog trainer. Fit the harness as described and continued to cause dog to either cough or fall over and pinch under front legs. A Halti brand collar is more effective and seems less painful. Me the dog parent nor the dog are a fan. Going back to the halti.

I ordered this for my 160lb English Mastiff and it worked great! No more pulling and it fits great!

I had one of the originals by this brand. Was happy to find it again. The medium fits my border collie. (Working not show)He’s 45-50 lbs. average for working bc. This is nice for when we just go for walks. He’s not on a leash on the ranch so this is nice for a visit or walk in town.My only complaint is the fabric seems stiff. Perhaps it will soften with age.

this harness does work to discourage a dog from pulling. however, one of the plastic clips on the one i received broke within the first week of use. i was surprised at this. my older dog used on of these harnesses when she was younger (as she is not inclined to pull at all any more, she no longer needs it), and it lasted for years. so when the plastic clip broke on the one i bought for my younger dog, it was unexpected.the younger dog is in the 50-55 pound range, and she is only ten months old, so she does pull some when wearing a plain collar. but she is not a super puller. i would not use a harness of this sort on a dog that pulled when wearing it, as it is not good for their shoulder joints. so this was just to discourage her from keeping the leash taut as we walked.nonetheless, the clip broke within days, rendering the harness useless, as the sizing could not be maintained on one side of the chest strap (i did use duct tape for a few days, but that was not a long term solution, obviously).so it is a useful item when it is functional, but it breaks.

I have a corgi-rottweiler mix, and he's a really good dog, but a beast on walks. While he tries really hard to be good and heel and that, he gets so excited by outside stimuli, and the dude is a little tank with a crazy low center of gravity. He looks like a big, buff rottweiler on tiny little corgi legs. He's 50 pounds of pure shoulder dislocating excitement if he sees a squirrel. I tried a Gentle Leader on him, but with his flat, square little face he would spazz out for about ten seconds and the thing would be off (luckily the Leader worked great on my Basset Hound, so we're getting use out of it).This thing was easy to fit (just make sure you actually read and follow the directions inside). I introduced him to the harness the way the insert suggested (short leash, with tension) and the change was immediate. Instead of darting out to the end of his leash and running in place like he's on an invisible treadmill, he stays at my side. I can't believe how little training it took to change his leash behavior. All dogs are different, but this harness was perfect for my dog.

This harness works well for our adult pitbull who is 60 pounds. He is not able to pull us, which is a hige different from other harnesses and collars. There is one snapping buckle on the side of the harness at the armpit. You will need to be careful not to pinch the dog's skin. I would recommend this for an adult dog.

Recommended by friend who also has a doodle (since they love to pull). My dog has tracheal collapse so only a harness works for him and a front clip otherwise he will pull you down. I didn't see any improvement with this harness as I did with others. Also noticed several times my lease coming unclipped or clipping to the fabric while he walked as well as the ring. Product is fine but didn't make a huge improvement for our walks.
