I would say yes. I love.this bag the handle is not so long that it would give that appearance it would balance you with the bag

Q: What is the metal bottom mentioned in the description?

There are 4 small metal prongs on the bottom outside of the purse. These are to keep it from coming into direct contact with surfaces and damaging the bottom.

Q: Does it fit under airline seat?

I haven't traveled with this bag, but my guess would be that it wouldn't fit standing up
