At certain times of the year where I live, there are gnats everywhere. It makes mowing the lawn a really unpleasant chore - fighting off those little buggers (their bites are VERY annoying and the itching takes weeks to go away!) is a pain. So I thought I'd give this mesh headgear a try. It works wonders! I wear a baseball cap to keep the sun off my balding head, and noise reducing headphones while I mow, and this mesh headgear easily fits right over both and covers my bare face and neck right down to my shoulders. It's lightweight and stays in place and is easily removable. It comes with a small storage pouch that will easily fit into my pocket when not in use, and I put it in a mesh bag to launder. The gnats still buzz around, and even land on the mesh headgear, but I don't get bit anymore! Hooray!

We suffered from the attacks from Midges when we were at Fair pool in Scotland so we decided to look for some very fine mosquito nets. I just received them, they are very fine, big enough for my wide rim hiking hats and of course we can still breath freely. This set also comes with 3 cute carrying pouches for protection and for our convenience. How nice! Happy for the purchase!

My next door neighbors have a row of tall messy cypresses that constantly little my yard. I've been cutting back branches on my side and they are always full of dead debris that rains down on me. I used these to help keep the debris from getting onto and into my eyes/nose/ears/mouth. Perhaps if I had a wider brim hat this would not be a problem, but I didn't, and as it was a bright sunny day the light refracted off the netting, making it difficult for me to see what I was doing. Guess I'll go back to a helmet and visor. These would probably work well when hiking through areas of gnats and other flying insects that tend to circle around my face. I plan to try them out in other situations, after which I may revise my review.

Keep all those nasty biting bugs, even tiny No-Seeums Away ! The tight dark mesh is nearly invisible while wearing & offers perfect protection. Large enough diameter to fit over a typical hat & long enough to provide protection even while working. Handy little pouch keeps it close at hand when not in use. Highly Recommend !

Every May we have at least 3 weeks of horrible no seeum gnats. Not your run of the mill gnats, but true no seeums. I use this on my hat and tuck it into my Tee Shirt to keep them off. You literally can't be outside without something like this to keep them out of your hair, ears and neck. Happy they make something for this problem.

I live these nets. They are light weight and easy to see through. The draw string is good for keeping the bugs from crawling in. The bag is nice for storing them in my glovebox too.

These were priced well, but did not need them.

We couldn't be in our garden. or get into our vehicles without being bitten in the face and the neck by mosquitoes all the time! These nuts are a good alternative if you do not want to pay to have the mosquitoes sprayed at your property. We have tried other eradication routes also. The nuts are the most helpful! We ordered some more for my grandkids to use while they're on our property.

they work well. work well over wide brim hats. more weight in the string would help to keep you covered.

These head coverings are superb when the Scottish midges are out in force these head coverings are an absolute necessity

Advertised for midges but the mesh is too open so the midges just come through it. Probably ok for mosquitos but don’t waste your money if youre off to Scotland in the summer.
