Losing my mind trying to sand down a crappy concrete patch job I did with standard sandpaper. I finally realized that the answer might be to get rougher sandpaper. So I bought the coarsest stuff I could find. Put it on my sander. Patch I couldn't get level in an hour before was suddenly flat as a pancake. I'm not sure whether I should praise this sandpaper or admit I'm an idiot! (heehee)

This stuff is definitely heavy duty. It leaves some deep scratch marks, which I guess that's what 24 grit is supposed to do. I used it to hand sand corners of our hardwood maple floors when I was refinishing the floors. Of course, you'd have to work up to a much higher grit to finish the floors, such as 100 grit. But this stuff was a start. My only reason for not leaving 5 stars is because the grit would occasionally fall off, and with the grit being black, and with me still sanding, the grit would get mashed into the floor leaving black streaks, which I had to sand out. Maybe that's to be expected, but maybe the grit could also be a lighter color.
