Fit well and works well great product

The fitting threaded right into a Ford 1500 where the sender was. The gauge hole is slightly bigger than 2". I used a chassis punch followed by a bit of grinding. No purging of the capillary tube was required. The capillary tube is better than a 1/4" tube because it is easier to route. Gauge reading matches what my large test gauge says. No more relying on an idiot light! I don't think it would survive very long if the tractor is exposed to the elements (no seals).

Well....its a gauge. I thought it was a direct drop in but its coarse thread and factory lines for the 8n are fine. No adapters provided will directly fit, so its a trip to the hardware store or autozone to adapt it out.

The copper pressure tube is tiny (about 1/8") and the length is not adjustable. If your run is shorter than the tube length, you must leave a coil of the pressure tube under the dash. Tube is very fragile and easily kinked or broken.

Copper line included but not quite long enough to reach in my application.
