I received this blanket and washed it on delicate as labeled, but dried it the dryer without heat within 30 minutes the first day. Directions call for drying it outdoors in the shade but I wanted to try it right away. I loved it. I slept so good. Was surprised something delivered as was promised. I usually end up disappointed. I bought the smaller one in off white. If you need some type of cover in warmer weather you might want this.

It is time to say goodbye to my lifelong pal I've had this blanket for 45. That seems impossible. I have been looking for a blanket forever, one that is thin enough for all seasons I thought Amazon would cut me off with how many blankets I have ordered and tried. But with Dangtop cooling blankets I hit the jackpot. It's thin, but not too thin it's a little warm but not too warm. IT'S PERFECT

This blanket is so soft. I have major sensory issues, so softness is a big thing for me. It's not plushy soft, to be clear. But the fabric is soft on the skin. It's lightweight, and I am a hot sleeper who needs to be covered. If you're thinking of the Princess & the Pea right now, my husband would confirm I am that princess. This lets me cocoon myself snuggly, but I'm never overly hot. I use it most of the year (we have no AC and live in the mountains, so summers it can be a bit too warm and I tend to use a sheet instead).BUT... my husband does the laundry and he HATES this blanket. "It goes into the wash weighing a pound, and comes out weighing 18." It also sometimes hangs up the washing machine by setting it off balance (and our washer/dryer is only 4 years old and fairly high end). It is not recommended you put it in the dryer, but to quote him, "it would take a week to airdry," and we don't have a clothesline. It takes almost 2 hours to dry. By itself.If you can deal with that hassle, it's so comfortable. But I can't take the guilt of knowing it takes so much time to launder, so I'm looking for a new blanket to replace it with.

I bought 2 of these for my husband and son who always seem to be hot. It works!! I was surprised when they both love their new blanket that keeps them cool in the evening. Love it. I am so glad that something finally works and it aids in their sleeping at night.

Editing to add my experience with washing:The directions say to hand wash and hang to dry, not in direct sunlight. I'm sorry, but who is hand washing something this large? Definitely not me. So I washed it in the machine on cool and whatever setting that my washer is always set on that is definitely not 'gentle' or 'hand wash'. It came out fine.I couldn't find anywhere in my house to hang this to dry that wasn't in the sun (if you have a bathtub with a shower curtain, that rod would work but I don't have that). So I hung it out to dry on the clothes line in my back yard... in the sun and in the blazing heat. It was outside for ten hours and wasn't even close to drying, which I find to be ridiculous, so I finally brought it inside and tossed it in the dryer on delicate. It came out fine.I've washed it a few times since, cool in the washer and straight into the dryer on delicate, and it's much softer now than when I received it. It does have an issue with threads along the edges, but I just cut those away. It hasn't shrunk that I've noticed. Below is my original review and I still stand by... this is just a thicker sheet that doesn't keep you cool. But it's a nice light blanket to keep on the couch.......................................Disappointed. I read so many reviews and thought this would actually give a cooling effect, but that is not the case. It's just a really thick sheet. I'm menopausal, but even without that I've always walked around in in tank tops and flip flops when it's 30f outside. I run HOT. This summer is ridiculously hot and I am suffering. Was hoping this would help, but I just woke up from a nap completely overheated and I swear when I lifted the blanket, steam was radiating off of my body.But it's a nice quality... for a sheet... so it will probably end up being my couch blanket.

At first I was like how is this blanket going to cool me down. I thought about returning it but went ahead and washed it and tried it out. I absolutely love it. The material is thin and soft. It kept me cool all night. I would recommend this to all the hot sleepers out there. Compared to other cooling blankets this one was a great price.

Perfect weight and feel for summertime. Comes with bag to wash it in. Took out of the bag to dry. Alternated between air dry and lowest heat setting for 15-20 minutes and came out in great shape. 79 x 91 size just right for twin xl. I use by itself for a cover with no sheet.

The first blanket I got in 2021 was a queen size and was perfect. It was not too thin and was a bit "heavy".The new king size one I got in 2024 is thinner and less heavy. As a matter of fact the queen size is heavier than the king size...Wish they kept the same thickness and heaviness.

This product is a little expensive but works wonders for the target audience. It is lightweight and easy to carry and lives upto its name and hype. If you are used to heavy blankets, then maybe this won't help you but otherwise it is an amazing deal.
