I bought this blanket for a family member who is battling cancer. I made up a basket of various items for her to utilize and enjoy while undergoing her treatments and hospital stays. When she saw the blanket, she pulled it out and unwrapped it right away, exclaiming how this is just what she needed because she experiences being cold a lot. She wrapped herself in the blanket and sat in her sofa chair and expressed how warm and soft it is. SHE LOVES IT!!! OMG! I Bought this for myself but.....EVERYTIME I turn around, someone else is under my blanket!!! Not only does my 3yr old believe that this is his blanket, but he also loves learning the words! His favorite is 'Hugs'. He has created his own little game of asking me what each 'H' word is, then saying "No, Mommie, that says HUGS"!!! Then he breaks out in this crazy laughter as if it is the most funniest thing, only to end by saying "Oh my goodness! That's not HUGS....THIS IS HUGS" (as he points out and counts each hugs word on the blanket! I LOVE IT!!!Besides that, YES! As I have said, EVERYONE has claimed MY blanket! I purchased it because unfortunately, I am going through a 'phase' where I will be hot as fire or cold as an iceberg at any moment. We have began to keep our home a bit colder than what was usual because of my 'flashes', so when the moment ends (usually during my sofa time), I like to curl up with a blanket, that I bought JUST FOR ME. Well... as I've said, that is no longer the case! Warm, comfy, snugly, just the right size.... I LOOOOOOOOOVE 'our' NEW BLANKET!!! <3

Updated: I bought 3 more!Green one for mom after surgery, she calls it her Lucky Irish blanket. Silver one for Dad who reads alot in his 70s and likes it when he relaxes in lounger for hours and doesn't have to get up and turn up heat. And the pic above for my friend Megan, which recently lost 2 family members to Covid. It made her feel wonderful to have this comfort blanket and she said it's like having a Warm Hug from a loved one! When she received it, she brightened up and said she loved it, her 2 kids loved it, the cat loved it, and all had to take turns with it. She sent a photo of it a few days later. This told me that the blanket caused her kids to flock around her and give her more hugs during a tough time for the family. A magical blanket! Thank you.

I wanted something to brighten the day for my grandma, who is battling cancer. I bought this blanket and she loved it! The look on her face when I handed it to her was the best gift ever! She loves reading the inspirational words on it and I've seen her rub the sherpa side against her face so many times! I'm ordering the solid gray one for my son, who is leaving for college in two weeks! The blanket is so soft, and I want it to comfort him on those days when he's missing home!

Is a gift for a loved one - I'm sure they will enjoy it. Looks very nice - feels very comfy - nice size. Pleased with the item. The only reason I did not give it a five star rating is because it has not been washed yet and I want to see how it turns out after a washing. Hopefully it will be fine.

Words can't express how grateful I was to find this blanket on Amazon and be able to purchase for my friend who was fighting cancer. He lived overseas and I felt useless being so far away and not being able to be there for him. I sent him the blanket and he and his wife loved it. It kept him warm, and gave him comfort during his final days. It may not seem like much, but this blanket was truly a Godsend.
