Please ignore some of the user-generated videos on Amazon! This product actually works really well, and does NOT hang over the front of your monitor/TV. Instead, you will need room *behind* the monitor/TV for the shelf to sit. Also, if installed correctly, the shelf does not wobble. I highly recommend!

It's a little hard to space the legs evenly. But once you do, it gives extra storage when you have a small workspace.

These shelves work for our cable box and dvd player.....but I would not suggest them. The shelves are made of plastic and they are about six inches by four inches (note that all of this is in the description. I feel like these shelves were always represented truthfully). The plasic is higher in the back than in the front. The plastic is slick. It is hard to balance something large - like the cable box - on them. It does work.....but don't blink or accidentally touch the balanced cable box or it will slide off. These shelves work, but I would not purchase them again. I will say that, if you have items that would actually fit on these shelves (like a cell phone) then these shelves would be better. I would have been much happier with at least a grippier rubber surface to the shelves.

I used one on my computer and one on my flatscreen to hold my soundbar. These are strong and fits snugly.

So As soon as I opened the support legs and tightened the thumb screw (which was still turning with ease) the plastic broke. It is not made of the best quality. But, it is installed and working ok. Just made cheaply. I would order another, just know it will not hold a lot of weight and it should be handled with care

I love decorating my office space with funkos and showing off my various interests, but I was starting to run out of functional desk space after moving things around. I got the idea to buy small shelves like this to use to display some, and I was NOT disappointed! These are great! I agree with other reviewers that the plastic is a little slick. But I know that a lot of you have old shelf / drawer paper that you have laying around. Use a scrap of that to make it more secure and it should be a breeze. I don't think I would put anything too heavy on this, myself, nor would I put funkos that would be extremely fragile on here if they, God forbid, took a tumble. But I love this addition to my desk setup, and I plan to get more to cover the empty side of my monitor!

These are being used to hold two Logitech Z533 speakers above my StepManiaX arcade dance game monitor. They are simple enough to use. You simply loosen the two knobs by turning them counterclockwise. Then, you place the front lip of the platform over the top edge of your television/monitor. From there, you angle and adjust the "legs" so that when weight is added to the platform, the "legs" will push into the vertical surface of the back of the television/monitor. Once you have angled the "legs" and tightened the knobs by turning them clockwise, you're good to go. These work perfectly for how I am using them. There is no way these things would fall off or break unless someone deliberately pushes down on them very hard or I'm wobbling my monitor back and forth and side to side a whole bunch. I'm more than happy with these! Sure, they do feel a bit anemic but that's only because they are plastic rather than metal or a thicker material. It will feel even more flimsy once you loosen them in order to adjust the angle of the "legs". But that's by design. Once you tighten them, that flimsy feeling goes away. You can probably break these by hand if you tried to snap them in half with a decent amount of force. But...don't do that. Lol. Use them how they are intended and I don't see why anybody should have any issues with these at all, seriously!

I had low expectations of this but it actually works well. I took two and put my sound bar on it. Improves the sound.

Not metal. plastic and cheap one but sturdy enough to hold my speakers and clear some desk space. Will track price and will probably order more on discount. Like it.
