Amazon Basics UK to Australia and China Travel Adaptor, White

Great for travel and very easy to use.

While I have only used it for converting an american plug to a UK socket, it does exactly what it's supposed to. The internal workings are quite stiff and requires a little extra pressure so that it gives, but other than that it seems to be absolutely fine. Hasn't failed me in a good 7 months, so I'd consider that a good indicator.

Often you see adapters like this adapter for temporary use only despite Europe using the same voltage. This seems really well built and more substantial than others. Quite big so no good for power strips but I have confidence in leaving appliances permanently plugged in.

I bought this for a friend because they had a device with a strange plug on it. Looking into it, the plug appeared to an American standard 2 pin plug. When they tried this they found that the plug wouldn't go in all the way. When a different adapter was tried the plug seated fine.Maybe this was just a one off issue.

Purchased them for travel and they fit extremely well into the sockets, with no issues whatsoever and given the cheap and affordable price, I am very pleased with them.These are also not too big so if you connect them in a double socket you have place enough.

I bought this so I could use it with a hair trimmer I had purchase which came with a Chinese plug. It was a bit fiddly to insert the pins of the plug into the adapter but once achieved the adapter worked well.

Using it for Aussie plug. Aussie plugs are rubbish, so easy to fall out compared to UK. So the adapter has to be a great fit to make sure the plug stays in place, and it is. Had a specialist one, and it was a poor fit, the plug fell out all the time. Lost it, and it was a blessing in disguise, as this new adapter works great.

Useful to have x2, one for laptop, one for mobile, electric toothbrush etc.
