MARBLE Hanayama Cast Metal Brain Teaser Puzzle

First off, this is a beautiful puzzle. Assembled it would look nice on a desk or anywhere. Very heavy duty. This is the first puzzle I’ve bought of these. Surprisingly, I did not have a difficult time dissembling it. 5 minutes tops. However, putting it back is another story. I am still trying and I bought it a few weeks ago. Every once in a while I take it out of my purse and try to assemble it, and have had my adult daughter try as well. I refuse to cheat and look up the solution, so it may be a while before it’s back together, even though every time I attempt it I swear it’s going to work lol. Since then I’ve bought a level 2 and 3 puzzle. The star, level 3, was fairly easy. I’m actually having a little trouble with the easiest one, go figure. They’re all nice puzzles and it’s fun to pass them around and have your friends and family try to solve them. I will be buying more and hopefully work up to a level 6!

I’d heard this was a favorite among Hanayama enthusiasts, and I see why. Sleek, exquisite design, satisfying solution, nice to fidget with once you know the solution too. It’s just nice to look at, overall it’s simply one of the best Hanayamas, an instant favorite personally. There is a red herring which may stump some amateurs, but nothing too crazy. It can also be frustrating to put back together if you don’t pay close to attention to how it comes apart (I didn’t the first time), but other than it’s decent for beginners. A must for any puzzle enthusiast.

I have recently bought a bunch of these Hanayama puzzles. They are all sturdy, high-quality, and entertaining to solve. But I would say that the Marble is particularly satisfying - more than any other puzzle I've tried so far. The actual puzzle is visually intriguing - nice to display on a mantle or shelf. It is small but heavy and a pleasure to handle. The puzzle aspect is not all that hard to solve - it can fall apart in your hands on accident. But the solution kind of blows my mind (the 3-D spatial reasoning part). The pieces fit together in one motion that is a bit counter-intuitive, but elegant and simple. And I get to relive the fun of discovery every time someone new comes over! Or is it the fun of lording your knowledge over people! Muahaha!

My husband loves these puzzles and this one is very challenging. Really they all are, even the lower level ones. They are so well designed and engineered. Great gifts for those who love a good brain teaser.

Hard but good

This was my first puzzle, so it was pretty challenging for me. I got it apart in less than 30 minutes, but it took 2 days to put it back together. I've taken 'Marble' to the office let coworkers give it a try. Watching others try and solve it, is perhaps the most fun. Marble is very high quality. It feels great (heavy and sturdy), and looks great too. I loved this puzzle so much... I think I'm going to buy many more Hanayama products.

This Hanayama puzzle is very cool looking and has a unique design. After solving it, I just love playing with the silver ball/marble. Once you solve this one it is easy to do it again. It's just tricky holding the pieces. They tend to slip out of your fingers. All in all, I would recommend this puzzle.

Just what was needed for a surprise gift

J'ai acheter ce fidget pour ma conjointe qui l'adore et la souvent sur elle. ça lui a pris un bon 20 min à le résoudre(ma conjointe est douée avec ce genre de truc). Très belle qualité, agréable de sentir son poid puis ce que les morceaux sont en metal plein. Niveau 4 de difficulté à été facile à résoudre pour les prochains achats je prévois prendre les niveaux 6.

Vary nice and good quality

Me gusto mucho el concepto del Puzzle, la calidad de las piezas y la solucion. El rearmado me parecio mas complicado y al final de muchos intentos me rendi y busque la manera en internet. Pero es muy bueno este hanayama. SI lo recomiendo.

This puzzle took me ages to solve but it was super gratifying when I finished it. It's very well crafted, surprisingly heavy and high quality. It would make a great gift for just about anyone. the exception being small children as there are choking hazzards.
