Nonstick Grill Pan for Stovetop with Lid, The Cast Aluminium Griddle Pot Induction Compatible, 11.5 inch Round Frying Pan Dishwasher & Oven Safe

I have tried several grill pans. Though I like the concept, most fall short. The cast iron ones have a rough surface that traps the grease, which adheres to the iron when it chars black as the pot is cooling. I cannot express how hard they are to clean, even if the surface is "no stick". Aluminum pans come with a smooth, non-stick finish, but the grooves are often shallow and/or rounded; meat just sinks down between them and cooks as if it was on a flat pan, and the grease can't escape.This pan is truly non-stick even the charred bits deep in the grooves wipe right out. The grooves are deep and square, lifting the meat above the pan so grease can drain, producing beautiful char marks. Heat distribution is excellent. it took a while to heat up, which is a good sign that it is not just thin aluminum, but will function like cast iron. Heat distribution was even on a regular gas burner, with meat on the edges and in the center all cooked the same. The only downside is the cover. Seriously, someone was on drugs when they designed this thing. It is hard to figure out how to get it to sit in the right place, and it wobbles like it isn't positioned right. I am still giving it 5 stars because once you figure it out it works fine, trapping all the steam and concentrating the heat.Lastly, I really like the handles. When I tried a cast iron pot with a regular long handle it was too unwieldy to lift one-handed, and the handle made it hard to maneuver other pots on the stove, or stuck out where one might bump into it. These two short handles are a great shape and size for easy use.I am an amateur cook, with very little cooking skill, and this pan has permitted me to make beautiful Mears with minimal effort. Great gift for the "bachelor" in your life.

I had been looking for a nice, lightweight grill pan for a while, and this is just what I wanted. The flat bottom works great for grilling on the glass electric stovetop, and the pan isn't heavy like cast iron, so I'm not in fear of cracking the stove. I have also tried it on a gas range, and it did a fine job of grilling there, too. And it is great to be able to cover it and finish off chicken or steaks in the oven! The handles are comfortable for getting it in and out of the oven, and the glass lid lets you see how the food is progressing. Perhaps the best thing is that no matter how bad the pan looks, even after coming out of the oven with burnt extra sauce stuck on the grill grates around the meat, everything comes off the pan without scrubbing!!

***UPDATE***3/11/21I reached out to the seller last night about the poorly fitting lid. He answered me almost immediately. He offered to send me a new lid with the silicone edge or a “big discount” to purchase their upgraded pan (same pan, better lid) that includes both the silicone lid edge & handle covers. I chose the discount & ended up spending less on the upgraded pan than I did on this one (w/ a lightening deal!) The new pan arrived today & I returned this one.3/9/21I received this pan yesterday & used it last night to cook chicken breast. LOVE the pan, but the lid doesn’t fit securely. I thought I jiggled it into place well enough, but 5 minutes into cooking (on medium heat) it shifted slightly & oil spattered everywhere! The photos in the listing shows a red silicone edge/seal for the lid, but one was not included with mine. Is it possible to receive one?

The grill is a great grill for grilling indoors, it cooks steaks and chicken very good and very easy to clean.Grill marks are nice and meat hold the flavor and juices/tender.The downside is the lid is not secure as I would like and constantly slide/wobble. It seems as if the lid doesn't fit the pan.The other downside is is the pot gets vet very hot including the handles, so you can't move the pot until it cool down unless you have mitts or towels...Overall great grill. I returned to get the grill Cainfy offers with the Pink lid and handles. Same grill just better lid and silicon handles to hold the pot

I was tired frying up hamburgers in the same old frying pan time after time. I finally started looking on here for a good quality pan and this little gem caught my eye.Straight to the reviews before buying...I mostly liked what I saw and decided to take the leap and take a chance on it. WOW! I'm in absolute love with this pan. Though I love hamburgers, I use to cringe everytime I thought about making them in my old pan. Not anymore. I actually really enjoy frying up hamburgers again. I can fit 5 burgers comfortably at the same time and clean up is so easy with this thing.I would most definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solid quality burger/meat frying pan.

Love this pan! I’ve used it almost everyday since I got it. No more cast iron for this girl. Super lightweight, heats evenly, wipes clean. No scrubbing! Perfect grill marks and doesn’t smoke up the kitchen. The only caution I would give is keep your pot holder by pan while cooking as the handles do get hot (silly me). Very pleased and you certainly can not beat the price for the quality.

This is a nice frying pan that grills beef, fish, and chicken well. I also in are fajita s in it and the meat & veggies came out good. The only downside is the handles get just as hot as the pan does. You will need oven mittens or a towel to hold or lift the pan. Rubber grips would be nice on the handles.

I expected this to be a thin walled tinny cheap steak cooking pan.It was NOT...!!Not quite as heavy as the cast iron size version but very substantial in feel. Seems to be well made and comes with a vented glass lid that fits loosely.I liked this pan so much I sent one to a family member.Follow up---Been using the pan on the stove top and in the oven up to 425 deg.-- cooks evenly, grill marks nicely, and most importantly it is a breeze to clean. I put a cooking spray on top of the non-stick surface so everythingliterally rinses right off before it goes in the dishwasher. I don't see any signs of the non-stick surface degrading but I don't use metal utensils on non-stick surfaces either.A great successful product from Cainfy. (not a paid endorsement from me)
