The official DVSA theory test KIT for car drivers pack

Description says it’s for computer and it’s DVD ROM, so need a DVD drive (not a CD drive) and it does work. Some reviews complaining that it didn’t work in DVD player or PlayStation, that’s because it needs a PC. If your laptop/PC doesn’t have a DVD drive you can purchase a USB DVD drive that can be used for films and games etc. problem is everyone expects it to be a download or an app etc. this is how old school software worked, these days we stream so I guess the description needs to be clearer to explain requirements.

Seems to be a good product,my nephew liked the idea of learning for his driving test from an interactive CD rom and thinks it will be better than trying to learn from a traditional book.

Found this easy to follow and useful. THE ONLY ISSUE I have is that I am unable to maximise the screen. I've tried all the settings and nothing seems to work. It's a bit frustrating because you have to squint your eyes sometimes to view the clips. The red arrows show how big the screen will go.

So I was expecting that having a £1500 laptop that I bought in 2021, I'd be able to install and use this software fine.... sadly not.Turns out you must have a DVD drive... and the disk must be in before it will load - both theory, then swap the disk for hazard perception.Not very good when your shiny new laptop doesn't have an inbuilt drive.I tried copying to USB and to the computer before installing and loading etc etc, but never got it working.Surely these days, the creators could implement a way to allow it to run from USB using a secure key or something?Anyway on the plus side, I installed it on my parents computer to make sure it worked. Which it did - and looked like very good mock tests.Shame I had to uninstall it, as its no use to me on their desktop.
