Catwoman: The Long Road Home

I got what I wanted. Only problem is that my package was 3 weeks late and I thought the comic was stolen or lost. Comic was alright, wasn't great and was pretty expensive for a small book- like other comics now.

This book was the first item i purchased online and I was very pleased with the service. The comic book came in a short amount of time when I expected it to come much later. The Catwoman:The Long Road Home was in very good condition I was pleased.

In a collection written by Will Pfeifer and drawn by David Lopez (with dazzling covers by Adam Hughes), DC's sultry cat burglar reclaims her territory after escaping a prison planet housing every supervillian on Earth. While Pfeifer's Catwoman retains her charm--though she's become a somewhat darker feline--the comic itself, throwing the Cat in the thick of things without an adequate backstory, almost loses it. After that hurdle, though, it's smooth sailing all the way. Though she goes a few rounds with several villains and, of course, the Dark Knight himself, Catwoman proves once again that when you're this smooth, everything's free.This comic is unrated: Violence, Adult Language.

The finale of the Catwoman series. This book really felt like a Catwoman story, recently Catwoman has seemed weaker and less independent than usuall, but this story takes her back to her roots as she re-embraces her darker side. The start of the story picks up where the last novel left off, with Catwoman trapped on the prison planet, to find out what exactly happens after this issue and how she gets home, readers will need to read JLA: Salvation Run. When she safely back on earth Catwoman picks up where she left off and continues to hunt down the new thief in Gotham that stole from her. The best part of the novel though is the final issue, whick shows Catwoman at her best and worst as she goes back to her roots of robbing Gotham blind and the finishes up with a good old fashioned Batman vs Catwoman chase on the roof tops. This shows that this formula still works and the intense chemistry between the two characters is still very much alive.Fun and thrilling with epic scenes and tense face offs Catwoman finishes on a high note and isn't seen in her own series again until Gotham City Sirens. If you are looking to bridge that gap a bit Catwoman plays a major part in Batman: Heart of Hush.This book contains Catwoman #78 - #82
