Having been a seiko enthusiast for many years I have often come across comparisons with similar citizens. Indeed it was when I come across reviews of the skx I was introduced to the legendary promaster ny0040. The 0040 was a gateway drug to all things citizen as I was surprised at the quality and to be quite honest it left my more expensive seiko skx in the water.This particular model seems to be less commonly discussed and I presume it is because it maybe a limited edition despite having similarities to the ny0040 / ny085 series. All I can say is the titanium bracelet is a dream to wear and is that comfortable I can sleep with the watch on. It is soo light, but you have to get out of the old mindset of ( its light so it must be cheap). I simply love the the two tone brushed ( graphite grey) and polished bracelet. Coupled with the stunning green dial that pops perfectly. I also appreciate the signed crown and milled bracelet, both features not found on my skx or even my ny0040.Ok the downsides (not enough to put me off). At nearly 400 pounds, it could be coming in with sapphire glass. Also the date window is in black and it's a shame they couldnt match the dial colour ( but it's better than the standard white in a lot of watches). The lume is great but not quite hitting seiko monster/ skx levels. My final criticism and most significant is the dissapointing power reserve- do not be fooled by the manufacturer quotes. Rather like mpg figures, you'll never get it in real life! It doesnt have hacking, but this feature is pure marketing hype. You dont buy an auto ( esp a cheap one) for that level of accuracy so its pointless. All in all I highly recommend this gem of a watch and perhaps it's best feature is its looks.

Citizen make some great looking watches, and this is no exception. Full titanium, when sized up for my 6.5" wrist it weighs a little over 100 grams. The case size lends itself really well to a smaller wrist, and the bracelet is very comfortable. The watch is running at about +10 seconds per day, which is within the Miyota movement's expected range. The bezel action is solid, the lume is good, and everything lines up nicely. About the only weak spot is the mineral crystal. Given the full retail price a sapphire crystal would have been nice. Five year Citizen guarantee. Highly recommend.

Good watch but I paid to much for it I should of at least got it £50 cheaper

I spent the better part of a month debating over different 'entry-level' automatic watches to get. I looked at many different Seikos, Tissots, Orients and last but not least Citizens.At first Citizen was not my first choice due to their focus on the Eco-Drive Quartz movements as opposed to automatics. However I fell in love with this titanium model as the look of the strap and having a lightweight watch appealed to me for day-day wear.Long story short I finally went for this one and I couldn't be happier. It looks so much better in person and I am beyond impressed with the accuracy. I wound up the crown when I first received it as per the instructions enclosed and so far it has been two weeks and is still dead-on accurate with no noticeable drift.The strap is extremely comfortable and in the sunlight the green dial really shows off its looks!All in all couldn't be happier!

The watch looks amazing in build quality.I have ordered the watch in the UKThe only reason for me to return the watch is the day is mentioned half in English for 12 hours and half in some foreign language for 12 hoursThe seller or Amazon should have mentioned about this limitation so that this wouldn't have resulted in me returning the gift on my friends birthday

I have owned this watch for five months now and I love it. All debates aside about a minute here or there I can say I find it very accurate and reliable. The titanium case is strong and tough and the strap fits superbly well on my very large wrist. The hands are easy to read either in daylight or complete darkness. I love the colour of the face and bezel and often get admiring glances and comments. Yes, this is a great watch to own and wear.

Great quality. Solidly built.Very comfortable to wear on your left wrist due to the light weight and 8 o'clock crown position.

As this watch has a titanium case and bracelet it's very light. Wears a lot smaller on the wrist than its size suggests. So much so my wife swipped it. The green does look good and being a left hand crown is an added bonus.
