Fit my 4" exhaust pipe on my factory 2018 Ram 2500 diesel.

Quality part. Perfect fit on my 2019 Ram 2500 with 6.7 Cummins (4” exhaust). Nice rolled edge with small drain hole at the bottom. Don’t expect a Crome finish, it is polished stainless so you can still see the grain if you look closely, but not bad. Personally I would like it to be a little longer like 14 or 15” vs 12” but seems like you can only find that length on a 6” tip. Overall, very good for the price.

The price

If your motor home or truck with 4” exh, which most of those applications are 4” ID, which means there about 4 1/8” OD, this extension unfortunately has a 4” ID and will not fit over it. Most units have the inlet swelled to fit over those pipes but this unit is exactly 4” ID, make sure your pipe is no larger OD than 4” exactly.

Dislike, I bought stainless steel to keep from corrosion or tarnishing and a 3 hour drive the tip turned a copper color from the exhaust heat

I like the tip, the coating sucks. It has started to chip away around the rim. I live in Southern California and I was my truck once a week, so the tip doesn't see the weather the rest of the country may be exposed to.

The tip looks good and will likely perform fine. The clamp is just a nut welded to the body of the tip. I would prefer a band clamp but I’m sure this would cost more. They should move the clamp slot and bolt to the bottom of the flange so it isn’t visible from above. This would improve the look.

I put this on my duramax to try to keep the bumper from turning black. Looks good and was easy to install.
