Works as expected - the user interface is clumbsy
It would be very nice if the seller developed a step by step list of instructions for each of the functions this unit can do. It seems as if the UX was developed for a different product (likely in the same enclosure) and forced to do what the generator was designed to do. So it takes a lot of poking around to get the unit to do what I want when I change the function or frequency. Accuracy on the amplitude is pretty good (+/-0.2 dB) and on frequency (+/-2 Hz at 915 MHz). Battery life is quite good - at least several hours. Good value for a portable, handheld, battery powered signal generator

Works well
This product works well. When combined with the spectrum analyzer, this gives you tracking generator capability, which is impressive considering the price. The buttons are too small for the enclosure, which is distracting when you are trying to dial in settings. Also the harmonics are strong, so be aware you may need a bandpass filter if you are concerned about that. The fundamental does show to be near 0 dBm at the strongest output setting.

Low Cost Signal Generator Really Works
This is a low cost broadband signal generator, 24MHz to 6GHz with no gaps between. The generator produces a signal that can be used to test any number of RF systems from 24MHz to 6GHz. This is a great buy, especially if you are a ham radio operator or an EMI engineer needing a signal source for troubleshooting.

user interface
The user interface is very difficult. It's very hard to change which digit of the frequency is incremented and decremented by the buttons.

An amazing unit!
This is a very well made and versatile unit! It is light weight and has a broad spectrum. For the money you cannot find anything that even comes close. The computer interface is icing on the cake. A must have for any serious test bench.

Low cost source of very high frequency test signal
The waveform seems pretty variable, sort of squarish except when it's sort of sineish. On the other hand, for the price, it does generate some sort of signal up to a very high frequency.

Excellant tester
The Explorer Signal Generator was very easy to use. It was very intuitive. Batteries even came 75% charged.

More instruction on why you use each function would be helpful for those learning their way into RF.
Has definitely helped our development... but, more instruction on the why's attached to the how's of using it would be really nice.
