I have three special needs cats which I need to keep in one area of the house. This gate works well for that purpose. It is a good height, installs easily and the walk through makes it a much safer option.

Surprised at how sturdy this is, and how easy it is to make it more or less pressure against the wall. It also comes with a pack to mount it via screw into the wall but that wasn't necessary.Super easy to put together, one of the easiest products I've ordered actually.Check the width options. The extensions are 3 different panels of fixed length. The only give you have I'd a couple inches from the pressure mounting screws, so if your entryway falls between their range, it won't work (e.g. if it's 33 or 34 inches it won't work, because it can go to 32" wide with no extensions or to 36" wide with just the one smallest extension).Would buy again.

Actually bought 2 of these as they looked to have been discounting it under two different brand names. And also not at a extreme rip off price that others were trying to charge over $100 for. I looked the Regalo brand but their doorway was only about 16 inches. And, I have people in the house that are slightly wider hip (myself included). So, I took a chance buying this as the design looked to be pretty much the same. For anyone reading this, the doorway itself is 19.5 inches!!!Installed relatively quickly ... I didn't use the sticky pads for my smaller doorway of about 40 inches. We've been using it for about a month and so far no physical issues I see from the tension grip with it possibly coming loose. My baby has been bracing against the gate and walking through them daily. The door uses a top and bottom switch to open in order to prevent babies from figuring it out quick. The automatic swing close works well enough if you tension the catch well. Being able to click it to lock open is also a good feature. If I remember correctly, this comes with 3 extender pieces (3, 6 and 7 inch I think) - depending on your area, it may be a bit weird getting it to fit ... luckily, I had bought 2 of these sets and for my wider 54 inch, I used all of the bigger extender pieces to get a foot fit. All in all, this was a good buy for the price.One thing overall that I haven't seen is anyone that makes one of these gates where there's a transition in the middle instead ... this would help greatly with tripping hazard (any manufacturer reading this, please send me my royalty check). Sure it would be a bit harder to manufacture but I'd easily pay $20 more for it that way. Babies will thank you!

The gates look wonderful and very sturdy

This gate is very easy to install. It comes with different extensions to get to the size you need. We did not use the wall cups because we didn't want to screw them to the wall, but it works just fine without them. Since the mounting brackets work independently it is no problem to fit with baseboard of any depth.It is easy to open and when you swing it fully open (in either direction) it stays there. It is so nice to be able to walk through instead of stepping over (and sometimes tripping) on the less convenient pressure gate we have at another opening. Through years of puppies and a toddler (got this one for a puppy), this is one of the best gates I have seen - especially for the price!

If your opening is towards the larger end of the range it'll be very wobbly.We didn't want to screw into the door frame so we used the adjustable knobs. Buy larger if you have a wide opening.

This product is great! I used it outside and it’s sturdy and stays nice looking even in the sun. I would recommend this product as is is very versatile
