Garfield Goes Hog Wild: His 70th Book

Garfield is literally timeless at this point, and I could not be more happy for another book! While I admit to missing the more old school shape of the Garfield books, that's minor and almost not worth mentioning other than I wanted to say it. 70 books on, and Garfield is still just as fresh and funny as he was since he first appeared!

Maybe the content is great, but I can't see it because it doesn't snap to individual panels in my kindle the way previous books did. In the past I could do a quick double tap on a panel to get the book to snap to each panel sequentially as I read. One quick double tap and I could read individual panels for the rest of the book.I read these books in bed on my kindle. To keep the light from waking me up, I turn down the backlight and read the individual panels full screen. It helps me quiet my mind before bed. The last two garfield books have not had this feature. I guess I'll stop buying them.

I have been collecting these books since the 1st books in this collection began. This book was as good as all other garfield books I own. He is timeless. Good for garfield fans.

Garfield up to his usual antics, what could be better? He always keeps me laughing.

I love these larger full color books! They are always great and classic Garfield in full color.

Item came yesterday and I'm sure that my sister will love it.

Ordered wrong format

this book is amazing but im pretty sure the sunday strip on page forty three is a repeat tho. i cant wait for the next book called "Garfield: What Leftovers?"

Another success by Garfield...

Every year I complain about the price and every year I still buy them when they come out. Garfield has been a part of my life since the early 1980's and I own ever biannual comic book he has issued, now 70, and several others too. I just can't get enough of the cynical fat cat and probably never will. Although some of his notable cynicism has soften over the years, along with changes in his look, he's still the best laugh for the buck out there and this collection is no different.About the only thing to really complain about is the ever-increasing price. Frankly I see no reason for it and that's why it gets 4 instead of 5 stars. Otherwise if you're a Garfield fan, like me, and you've already collected books 1 through 69, you know (and I know) that you will buy #70 as I did.So let's not waste time. Whether it was a funny half-year or not (fortunately it was) you will, like me, complain about the price and still pony up. I just hope that the publishers realize that, at some point, you may not. Until then, it's time to Go Hog Wild and get this book as I did.Oh well, at least it's in colour!
