Science For Everyone : Aptitude Test Problem In Physics

The problems in the book use the fundamental concepts and then build on tackle complicate problems. AP Physics-1 students can treat this book as a treat.

Good book for practicing tough questions. It involves less mathematics than I.E. Irodov yet can be found to be harder in terms of requiring usage of multiple concepts. Packaging was good except a small hemispherical tear through pages on the side about 2-3 mm.

This book contains the rigours and thrills of the Physics Olympiad held in Moscow. Although plenty of the problems have been drafted by the authors themselves, they are of the calibre of physics problems of the Moscow Olympiad. An excellent book for the InPhO, as well as the theoretical problems of the IPhO. It is meant for high school students (ie; grades 11 and 12), however a student of grade 9 onwards can also try his hand at these problems, as long as he/she is motivated enough. All in all, it contains around 240 problems, with detailed solutions for the same. If you are aiming for physics olympiads, or have a keen interest in physics, then go for it!

Has highly conceptual problems. Useful for Olympiad and for those who want to Ace JEE Advanced Physics. Level of problems is slightly Tougher than Irodov.

Single book of tough questions. The book has tough and out of the box questions from 1st to last question.

I owe both Irodov and Krotov and I can assure you this book is much tougher than Irodov with more focus on concepts related to Physics rather than calculations (Irodov is mostly difficult in terms of calculations and requires very in depth knowledge of calculus). You can buy this book if you're aiming for less than AIR 100 in JEE Advanced and want to completely master Physics. But if you have less time then don't go for this books as you have to also study Mathematics and Chemistry. For an idea of difficulty of problems you can check the photos attached.
