THE BEST!!
This is the absolute best outdoor fan! I have 2 hanging from my back porch rafters and gives off great airflow. They are very sturdy and have done very well outdoors. They are weather proof although I have them under a roof but they have been excellent. Some reviews say they are "loud" but its a fan with hig speed sooo yeah they are not going to be silent. The low speed gives off a ton of air and the top speed is like a wind tunnel haha I couldn't be happier for the value.

Saving my chickens during heat waves.
We are having some real bad heat waves this year in Michigan and my poor buff Orpingtons have been suffering. This fan brings them some relief in my chicken run during the day. This is a powerful fan and really moves a lot of air even on low. I don’t think it is much of a stretch to say this could be saving their lives during this heat.preventing heat strokes. I would definitely recommend this fan and it’s a reasonable price for the great quality.

Love this fan.
This is the third fan I’ve bought to replace a worn out Northern Tool wall fan for the garage. The first two I returned because they were louder than a single engine Cessna airplane. This fan is fairly quiet on low speed, the speed I use the most. It moves plenty of air and even more on the higher speeds. Perfect for a 2 car garage that I work out and occasionally watch TV in. I did use the old fan mount which made mounting much easier.

This fan is impervious to the elements
Oh my goodness! This fan has been really amazing. I got it because my neighbor smokes, and I wanted to try to keep the smoke smell from entering my yard. I actually got two of these fans so that I could place them in strategic locations. I leave one of them on all the time on low, turning it off only if there is a forecast for ice or freezing rain. I'm not sure that would have any detrimental effect on the fan, but I figure there's no point in the motor trying to work when the fan blades are possibly accumulating ice. When I'm outside and my neighbor comes out, I will turn the first fan on to high, and then I will also turn the second fan on to high as well. It's amazing the difference they make. When they are on high, they are quite loud, and the one that I leave on low all the time is vibrating a little bit, but I think it's because of the angle I have it set on. That is another effective feature of this fan. You can angle the air flow pretty much anywhere you want it. I have left both fans out year round, and they both work completely fine. The one that is on low, I actually have on a timer so it comes on every day for 18 hours and goes off from midnight to 6:00 a.m. . The one thing to be aware of with these fans though is that when they are on high, they do draw quite a bit of electricity. For a short period of time, I left both of them on high because I was out in the yard a lot, and I actually saw a difference in my electricity usage. Leaving one of them on low 18 hours a day is much less impactful. It makes sense that they draw a bit of electricity though because the air flow is quite significant when the highest setting is used. The one other thing I want to point out about this fan, and it is pretty much the reason I bought it among the others I found, is that it works just fine sitting on a flat surface. In fact, I have it zip tied to a milk crate to elevate it just a bit, and then the milk crate is anchored in place with bricks. It has worked just fine for both fans. When I was searching for a fan for my particular usage, I needed one that did not have to be wall mounted, and I also wanted one that was truly weatherproof. This one has satisfied both of those requirements, in addition to having a strong air flow to do what I need it to do. I highly recommend this fan if your needs are similar to mine.

Good fan
Runs fairly quiet and moves a ton of air. It came with some missing hardware. While it does a good job moving air, the back of the sealed motor runs very hot. Hot enough to possibly burn your skin. Will run and see how long it lasts in the weather but just note to keep it clear.

Great fan.
Bought this fan for my outdoor griddle area (Blackstone) because of the heat in summer. Dude!!! This will definitely get you cooled down. I turn this bad boy on high and, breeeeezzzzzeeeeyy! I have it hung up under my covered area and pointed right at me. On high this fan easily blows out at least 25 feet approximately maybe more. Really good fan. Do contemplate buy, buy buy.

Heavy-duty fans that hold up great to sustained outdoor use
We own three of these fans, and we use them to keep our chickens cool in their run and coop during the hot summer. We have them under cover from the rain, but they're used outside in the heat, running 24 hours a day all summer long, and they've held up great. Quiet and powerful. Our girls sure appreciate the breeze!

Quiet and powerful
I installed this fan on my balcony to get rid of charcoal barbecue smoke and foul odours from neighbouring units. I've used it a few times now and it's very effective, powerful enough to clear the smells right away. I have it plugged in to a remote control extension cord so I don't have to go outside to turn it on when I smell odours. It's so quiet that I have to check outside to make sure it's working. My only small criticism is that there's no stand available for it. Since I'm a renter with a concrete balcony I can't drill holes in, I had to build my own stand for it.

NOT for wet locations or to be left outdoors in all season. Manufacturer warns of Shock Hazard
Bought the fan for outdoor use because description stated it was good in wet conditions and could be left outdoors. However, the manufacturer's instructions that come with the fan state: "WARNING: Shock Hazard. Use your fan only in dry environments."
