Very happy with the craftsmanship of this journal. High quality leather cover, strong construction and nice paper for smooth writing. I like the look and feel overall very much, as I wanted a journal with a mystical, mysterious aesthetic. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the ribbon markers are a little shorter than I prefer, but they still do the job (and I appreciate that there are two of them!) Excellent quality and great price for what it is, because I've seen plenty like it that costs twice as much or more.

I just received two 5" x 7" leather journals that I purchased through Amazon from ThoughtSpace, and I am OBSESSED! These are beautifully handcrafted, quality items for only around $20 each. This is an amazing deal, especially for a soft-covered, leather-bound journal with 115 GSM lined craft paper! I may just have to stock up, as I have paid more for other decorative, stiff, leather journals which only contain blank recycled paper which can often have issues with ghosting and bleeding through the pages when using implements other than a pencil or ball point pen. The journals also arrive in a burlap, drawstring bag, which is very handy to keep them protected. I may purchase the 6" x 8" journal next. These journals make me so happy and INSPIRED! I am trying to start journaling again as I am losing my memory. It healped my grandmother a great bit as well as the family members. By reading it they were able to reminisce and know her true feelings and things she forgot to tell them. I love all 18th and 19th century items and history. This book is perfect. Most books I found were not lined. This book is leather brown with the hand made paper and is college ruled. PERFECT FOR ME

Great journal, well made and attractive.

I think I got a piece slightly different from the description. It says "252 lined pages of silky smooth 115 gsm cream paper" in the image, but I got 240 lined pages of thin and somewhat rough coffee brown paper!! Also, the ribbon bookmarks shown in the image are missing, no such thing in my order. Rest is ok. Haven't tried writing on it as yet.

Me tocó más oscuro que como se ve en algunas imágenes, pero se ve como en la primera imagen, me encantó y ya empecé a escribir, las hojas son bastante gruesas y me encanta el aspecto rústico. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.En el video pueden escuchar lo gruesas de las hojas.

El diario es pequeño pero la calidad de la piel y el papel son muy buenas. Como regalo me parece una buena opción, en especial para aquellas personas que gustan de la escritura tradicional.

Me encanto! Se ve súper artístico, puedes dibujar bien o mal, pero en ese cuaderno te ves súper pro jaja.Las hojas de color café se ven muy bien cuando dibujas con plumas blancas.También le aventé acuarela y no se arrugó ni se traspasó, eso también me gusto.Una desventaja es que la cubierta es muy blanda y no sirve de soporte cuando dibujas en lugares complicados.
