Might not fit properly in your 16x25x5 filter cabinet
Today I changed my furnace air filter, and realized that 3M had made an unfortunate change to the product.The old filter and the new filter are the identical product from 3M with one small but important change. The old filter had two foam gaskets on both the top and bottom of the filter. The old filter slid smoothly into the filter cabinet with a nice airtight seal on the top and bottom.The new filter has only a single foam strip on the the top and bottom, and completely misses the top and bottom rails of my filter cabinet.The filter needs to have an airtight seal against all four sides of your filter cabinet, or the air will follow the path of least resistance and bypass the filter. Your filter will last forever, but won't catch any dust!I needed to add strips of foam to get the new filter to seal. Doesn't seem right for a filter that costs as much as these do!

NOT direct replacement for x6670 Lennox
Great quality, just wish it was a fit for my Lennox air handler filter. The x7760 filter actual size is not true to 25×16×5 dimensions. See from the pics that the filtrete is not either.It's not intuitive that too filter that are marked withe the same dimensions are off as much as an inch in multiple dimensions.This is too thick to fit Lennox air handlers.

Great filter
Great filter for the price no issues had the ac guy out last year and he highly suggested this. I will say setting these up for delivery every 4 months is also a great idea because it's a nice reminder of when you should change them plus you save a little money and let's be honest who doesn't love that

My new AC/heating unit needed it's first filter change. On the old filter that came installed with it (Carrier brand name Heating/AC system) it was marked as a 16x25x5 for the size so I felt comfortable ordering and felt it didn't have to measure it since the size was printed on it. Turned out after I ordered this filter from this seller that the true size was 16x25x4!! The filter I ordered was too thick. The size printed on the filter was wrong for God know what reason. So I returned the filter to this seller because it didn't fit, was too thick. But this seller didn't refund my money, which was not cool! But my AC is cool.

Fit perfectly
This is a great fit fir our furnace, which came with a 20x16x4 size filter. When I measured the opening it can easily take a 5" thick f8lter so I bought this 20x16x5 filter and it fit perfectly. (With a little room to spare)

I found these to be the exact same filters I have been using but a little cheaper in price and delivered to my door.

SIMPLY EXCELLENT
If you have pets this filter is a must. I have five dogs and this filter was amazing. Costly but well worth it.
